Always clean and tidy. Well stocked shelves and have a wide range of grocery stocks. Wouldn't expect anything less given the location of this store. First impressions by tourists, arrivals into Auckland counts!

Unbeatable supermarket, its location is the best - close to Auckland Airport and next to iBis hotel. This openly late night place offers you a wide range of both local and imported products., as well as fresh fruits, vegetables, and natural items. I, myself, bought a bunch of chocolate and some snacks as souvenirs home. Payment is through cash or credit card, self-service or by cashier assistance. A lot of parking space in front. Have fun shopping at Countdown!

I like shopping there. I never found it to be over crowded at all and it didn't matter what time of day it was. I don't know, I think it may be there for the convenience of all the workers around the airport. Late finishes and early starts. It's not a huge place but it's not small either. The staff. They are amazing forever smiling. It's a happy store to shop at.

Location is near Auckland airport. So if you get your vehicles nearby you can probably just come there and get your groceries. Just 10mins driving distance. Plenty of parking spots and parking shouldn't be a problems. A lot of choices inside. The price, not the best, but still quite okay.

Everything you need to get, are in this store. Household needs. Everyday needs. Most things are here. Close to the Airport. Pick up your supplies before travelling in and out of the Airport. Huge Carpark. Campervan space too. Electric Vehicle Charging Bay as well.

Quite ideal shopping place has a very good range of products the bulk food area is very attractive, nicely displayed, bakery is department is mouth watering, yes I couldn't hold myself bought muffin, pancakes n powerade for my fast lunch. This Countdown is one of the busiest outlets I have ever been to, given its strategic location. It is packed with tourists doing last minute shopping and shopping for food on the go. The shopping experience is not so pleasant as other outlets given the volume of noise. The environment is clean though.

I worked in a retail shop near this Countdown for 4 years and oh do I love everything! There can be a line sometimes as it's the airport, but they have enough staff to cope up. I've made friends with their staff as well. They're very helpful and kind. They always ask how your day has been and wishes you a great one after your transaction.

Another solid reliable Countdown store. Better than average wine, beer, bakery & deli, but watch out for high prices in the produce dept. Plenty of convenient parking.

Very handily located Supermarket located just off the first roundabout to the north of the airport terminals and adjacent to the Ibis short term stay Hotel - plenty of parking. Having opening hours from 6am to midnight 7 days/week make it the perfect stop for fresh meats/cheeses and breads etc to take overseas if on a morning flight, for a quick stock up upon arrival back in NZ if arriving late and for those overnight travellers in nearby hotels/motels who need some toiletries, food/drink etc - it's a great supermarket, friendly staff and well stocked for what is classed as a smaller supermarket compared to some of the regional megastores.

Had time to waste while waiting for a flight to arrive. Needed to get some food shopping done so was easy to do here and still be close for when the flight arrived. Not the biggest countdown store but had a reasonable range and for once not huge lines at the checkouts so got through pretty quickly.

First time in this store. Limited products. Please stock Birdseye Hashbrowns. STOP USING PLASTIC BAGS, AND PARTICULARLY IN THE DELI SECTION. COME ON COUNTDOWN TRY AND SET A GOOD EXAMPLE! Excellent staff service.

Haven't been to Airport Countdown for about 6monthes as I felt it was in need of an overhaul. Very pleased to visit today and find that a revamp has happened. Good selection of meat and veges. Extremely clean. Will be shopping here again.

Lacking in the selection of better Countdowns, was expecting a good store due to the size but a bit disappointed. Prices seemed higher than usual and freshness not as good as their other stores. Probably wouldn't shop at this one again, would choose an alternate Countdown as the one card loyalty program this is my proffered supermarket chain.

Our go to place after we return from an overseas trip. It is open early in the morning and quite late. It has everything you need but I wouldn't say it is cheap. I guess it doesn't need to be considering the lack of competition. I find the meat really overpriced but you can always get frozen products like Sea Lord fish.

Nothing different from your local Countdown, just that it's located near the airport. Buy foods and essentials here as the airport tends to have a higher price bracket than your local stores. Parking is a breeze and there is a warehouse next door for all your normal needs. Would Recommend.

Nice supermarket but is a little small so does not have the full range of products. For most people that visit New Zealand and are renting a motorhome then this is the first stop - the staff are very welcoming of overseas visitors which is great.

Closest supermarket to Auckland airport. Lots of carparking. Due to its popularity it can be low on some fresh stock from experience but tends to have a great range. Lots of lunch options hot and cold from experience in the bakery and deli. Always great service and the introduction of the self check out has made it great for quick visits.

It's a decent countdown, not as well stocked as some others but still great for grabbing something quick. It's rarely very busy, unless a bus full of tourists come to stock up on milk powder. Interestingly there is a free mountain bike park behind this complex.

Quiet and peaceful. On site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pool, gym, and guest laundry are available for use. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Staff are excellent.

Firstly what a great place to have a supermarket. When you come back from holiday the fridge is always empty and this makes it so easy to grab the shopping on the way home. Always easy to get a park as well!

A busy countdown thanks to its location close to the airport. There always seems to be a lot of campers and tourists stocking up before hitting the road. Not the cleanest store in the world, could be something to do with how busy it is, but it certainly doesn't set the standard for Woolies. Staff are a little hit and miss too. They could do with a few more smiles and friendly Kia oras for sure.

TRAVELERS: Stop here and stock up on the huge variety of made in New Zealand candy--great gifts for friends and family at home. Countdown has a huge selection of Whittaker's chocolates and other NZ treats. A particular favorite is the chocolate kiwi. Not sure if they are carried year-round or only at Easter. Seriously, who needs another mug. Bring home chocolates!

Countdown near Auckland airport is a big grocery mall. You get all food items, wines, liquor, kitchen ware, etc. Vegetables are fresh, frozen meat, groceries, packed items. They also have counter, where you get sandwiches, salads and other eatables.
