Love it, nice and clean, friendly staff. Would be nice to put the discounted produce bk on the shelves again. They seem to go to food Banks. people love reduced costs why not give the options to the local community first before sending the discounted reduced priced food out of the local area. They go to salvation army and we don't have one down our end. Families are in need in these areas too. I know many families and solo pensioners/students that shop to budgets including myself. Would be nice to open up the extended car park area that's usually blocked off too. At least for the hours that the trucks aren't using it please. Condiments, there is very little variety of salad dressings eta, flavors. (Caramalised red onion please) There is also very little Diabetec food available too no sugar products. Over all you guys are so very aewsome

Tidy tiny shop. Great and friendly staff. But can't find the Christmas stuff. Can't shop from warehouses and kmart only option is countdown now .

I've never been in this store before & I'm on crutches. On leaving I couldn't carry my purchases to the car so the checkout operator Jaspreet graciously offered to take them out & put them in the car. His actions are the reason for 5stars not 1. The difference between this man & the one in the wine department was like black & white. I asked the assistant in the wine department if they had a particular wine. He said no. Didn't bother to look. A shopper looked, found it for me & placed it in my trolley. Christina 🌹

A smaller size countdown which usually means it's not very busy. The downside is limited range of products and I've only ever seen 1 checkout operating so you can wait a while. Also the carpark is tight and can be a pain.

I find myself having to go to a different Countdown more often. In the year and a half I've been using this store its selection has gone considerably downhill. 5 types of lamb chops but no ground lamb. I couldn't find a single form of parmesean cheese, or even a close substitute. No rocket/arugula. These weren't out of stocks, just items that are never or no longer stocked. I felt it was time to write a review when more than half of my 'basics' and weekly meal plan list couldn't be purchased here today.

Countdown Hauraki is a great supermarket with regular discounts & friendly helpful staff. I buy almost all my supermarket items from the Countdown chain which helps to get discount fuel for the car. Also get regular e-mails tailored to my product purchases advising of upcoming specials and features such as recipes.

Good range of products and also very conveniently located, ample parking both under cover and in front of the store

This is a good countdown but quite small so does not have the full variety of goods in other countdowns. The prices also tend to be a little higher comparatively. There is plenty of parking but can be hard getting back onto the main road at the traffic lights.

This a smaller neighbourhood supermarket. Staff are friendly. However, because of the size there is not the same selection of gourmet foods, coffee, cheese etc. that you would expect in this relatively high end neighbourhood.

Whoever plays the songs here deserves a pat on the back. Such amazing nostalgic songs, i always spend atleast 10 minutes more waiting for a song to end and then the next, but then another amazing song comes on 😂
