Thanks to the friendly staff working public holidays. Store was well laid out, clean and well stocked. Ample car parking. Walked straight up to a cashier with no queue. Lots of reduced to clear meat which filled my freezer :) I'm an out of towner, wish my local stores were this good! (Hamilton Central and Ruakura) I'll be back next time I'm visiting friends in Laingholm :)

This countdown site has level 4 shopping on lockdown, lol so too speak. Lines are controlled, sign in and scanning controlled and masks are worn. All supervised by security with a smile. Well done!👍 Sure staff are keeping it real!! And for a smaller site you are all doing an awesome job!!! I feel for you all right now💞😉

The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and ripe here. Very clean and the staff are excellent to deal with. The self serve checkouts are a great time saver as well. 5 stars

One of the best super markets near to the New Lynn area! They have got a very spacious parking and the staff is really friendly & fast. They have got a wide varieties of materials and the cost is also affordable. Things are kept organised and wisely so that it is easy for you to shop along the path. The billing section is efficient and fast thereby saves your precious time.

I am starting to be able to find items now after the huge change of products in different aisles. My BIGGEST disappointment this visit was buying 2 samosa....I haven't purchased them before SO instead of them being placed in a a paper bag and priced, they were put in TWO separate PLASTIC containers and glad wrapped. Seriously ??? Cut down on the plastic use, it is not necessary. Update on my previous post...... I now have no issues with Countdown, Kelston. There is a large range of products and I receive their emails offering specials.

Good easy access open air car parking as well as undercover available. Shop was clean and failry tidy. Many gaps in product lines as evidence of a good trading day. Mostly reasonable mid-range pricing on extremely good range of meat, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, groceries and many house hold necessities. Supervised self service checkout counters available. Two full service checkouts with small queues at 9pm today. Pleasant, friendly checkout staff.

Very easy to turn in and buy on impulse. Very reasonable prices and friendly vigilant staff. Seafood and hot chicken seem to be in a dingy space that I tend to miss it due to the amount of baking . I love seafood but it is not displayed to entice my appetite. Hot chicken should pop out too before you get to the luncheon deli.

I do all my online shopping from Kelston Countdown with no disappointments when receiving my orders (Previously a Mt Albert Pak n Save customer with issue after issue). They are great with substituting items and not charging you additional cost if it is a larger pack or a more expensive brand. They always have it ready before I arrive with minimal effort rolling the trolley down to the underground car park which is great in summer!

A nice branch of Countdown, clean and tidy. Staff members are quite friendly. The interior has been improved to be more aligned with the other countdown shops; and the layout is quite nice and well managed. Can be busy at times, and parking are shared with the mall and have both uncovered and underground parking spaces.

A staple of kelston shops. Large countdown with a good variety of everything you might need. Underground parking with ramp access makes quick shopping trips a breeze. Outdoor parking is usually packed and must make the local panel beaters a lot of money, avoid if you value your car.

I live right next to this countdown so walking to it is great, it's never got any lines during this covid 19 outbreak and everyone there is super lovely. Especially the security guards :)

Great lil (well it's actually quite big) countdown nestled in the Kelston Mall, I enjoyed doing my food shopping here as it's close to home and conveniently placed in the mall so you can get your mall shopping done and then do your grocery's without having to go on a mission to find a countdown 😄
