Thanks to the friendly staff working public holidays. Store was well laid out, clean and well stocked. Ample car parking. Walked straight up to a cashier with no queue. Lots of reduced to clear meat which filled my freezer :) I'm an out of towner, wish my local stores were this good! (Hamilton Central and Ruakura) I'll be back next time I'm visiting friends in Laingholm :)

This countdown site has level 4 shopping on lockdown, lol so too speak. Lines are controlled, sign in and scanning controlled and masks are worn. All supervised by security with a smile. Well done!👍 Sure staff are keeping it real!! And for a smaller site you are all doing an awesome job!!! I feel for you all right now💞😉

It was pleasant a bit sparse with some products but over all sales were great. Love my countdown kelston

I've said some rubbish things about this place before and they still refuse to pack your groceries, even in level 3.2, but it was much improved since my last scathing review

I like kelston countdown because they have things that New Lynn countdown never had plus I will never ever shop at the New Lynn countdown anymore because of the inserted that happened in 20221

Pleasant place to shop not too crowded customers kept their distance, most groceries are back on shelves

Great store, always well stocked with high quality brands, prices are affordable, meats, deli, seafood, and bakery are always filled with appetizing foods. Close to home and has a lot of parking. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and ripe here. Very clean and the staff are excellent to deal with. The self serve checkouts are a great time saver as well. 5 stars

Nice big shop very clean and tidy and nice cool under ground parking

A good sized supermarket. Have a lot of carparks underneath where it's nice and cool in summer. One of the easiest to visit when other countdowns are quite busy. Nice staff.

Easy, low price, great place to get all your essentials, wonderful staff

Always a pretty well stocked store.

A good Countdown, and the biggest attraction is the Sushi bar just in front of it, by the checkout, in the concorse of the wee mall.

Staff are helpful and friendly but the prices are to high for the level of service, it was ok in the past as they used to supply and pack your bags. Would be better off going to pak & sav as you get the same level of service but with cheaper prices.

One of the best super markets near to the New Lynn area! They have got a very spacious parking and the staff is really friendly & fast. They have got a wide varieties of materials and the cost is also affordable. Things are kept organised and wisely so that it is easy for you to shop along the path. The billing section is efficient and fast thereby saves your precious time.

My favorite supermarket is Countdown Kelston. As long as you know everyone they will look after you 100%

Customer service ok, they always expect you to pack your own shopping into bag, even when they not busy

Shelves are beginning to look a little bare. Very good experience today.

Decent and generally good place. Can be very hard to find a staff member when you need one and the youthfulness of the staff can be an issue at times when they are more caught up in conversations between themselves than in serving customers.

I am starting to be able to find items now after the huge change of products in different aisles. My BIGGEST disappointment this visit was buying 2 samosa....I haven't purchased them before SO instead of them being placed in a a paper bag and priced, they were put in TWO separate PLASTIC containers and glad wrapped. Seriously ??? Cut down on the plastic use, it is not necessary. Update on my previous post...... I now have no issues with Countdown, Kelston. There is a large range of products and I receive their emails offering specials.

Good easy access open air car parking as well as undercover available. Shop was clean and failry tidy. Many gaps in product lines as evidence of a good trading day. Mostly reasonable mid-range pricing on extremely good range of meat, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, groceries and many house hold necessities. Supervised self service checkout counters available. Two full service checkouts with small queues at 9pm today. Pleasant, friendly checkout staff.

Very easy to turn in and buy on impulse. Very reasonable prices and friendly vigilant staff. Seafood and hot chicken seem to be in a dingy space that I tend to miss it due to the amount of baking . I love seafood but it is not displayed to entice my appetite. Hot chicken should pop out too before you get to the luncheon deli.

I do all my online shopping from Kelston Countdown with no disappointments when receiving my orders (Previously a Mt Albert Pak n Save customer with issue after issue). They are great with substituting items and not charging you additional cost if it is a larger pack or a more expensive brand. They always have it ready before I arrive with minimal effort rolling the trolley down to the underground car park which is great in summer!

My favorite place to go and always have great bargains.

I love how they retain their staff. Its always nice to go in there and see familiar faces who are always smiling and welcoming. I love shopping here. It has more variety in the salad department than the Henderson Mall branch.

Parking is a breeze much better than it ever was Out of water trays sadly but the checkouts were on today which was great

Great place as a young islander girl who worked there was so kind and paid for a few groceries I had when they were closing because I left my wallet in the car. I came back and took money from an atm bt how kind x

A nice branch of Countdown, clean and tidy. Staff members are quite friendly. The interior has been improved to be more aligned with the other countdown shops; and the layout is quite nice and well managed. Can be busy at times, and parking are shared with the mall and have both uncovered and underground parking spaces.

I enjoyed the promptness from staff and morel so there were more tellers available than The new Lynn countdown. New Lynn. Countdown you let me down well done Kelston excellent customer service

One of the best around. Great staff, hassle free parking and a variety of other shops in the mall.

A staple of kelston shops. Large countdown with a good variety of everything you might need. Underground parking with ramp access makes quick shopping trips a breeze. Outdoor parking is usually packed and must make the local panel beaters a lot of money, avoid if you value your car.

Our local is great friendly staff and shelves are well stocked just a shame that the products are limited and needs more variety some aisles need a good clean and trolleys shouldn’t be left in aisles specially by staff

I live right next to this countdown so walking to it is great, it's never got any lines during this covid 19 outbreak and everyone there is super lovely. Especially the security guards :)

Pretty good, have lots of things you can buy since the lockdown, even you can have the heater, I bought my heater there and was very useful.

Picked up my click and collect shopping with no waiting. Staff were very helpful. Sadly I saw way too many people not wearing masks

This is our go to and only cause it's convenient to home. Not for range or value. Occasionally the group does have great specials yet I'm more confident to promote pak n save over countdown. Better range and value

Easy parking underneath countdown. Like any other countdown shopping experience is as easy with aisles being very wide...

Simply good as it is not only the closest but a convienient supermarket thats averagely priced. Always good to supply free fresh fruit for kids upon entry... also a great way to keep them quiet.

Good place for Glen Eden, and a covered parking place, thumb up! But a bit more expensive

Great lil (well it's actually quite big) countdown nestled in the Kelston Mall, I enjoyed doing my food shopping here as it's close to home and conveniently placed in the mall so you can get your mall shopping done and then do your grocery's without having to go on a mission to find a countdown 😄

Friendly and very helpful staff who respects for their customers. Excellent service and most of all, fresh produce.

Modern countdown clean tidy easy in and out parking underneath . If your parking out side it can get busy. Also turning right to get out can be tricky .. so turn left go around the roundabout is sometimes safer.

Good selection of vegan and vegetarian products. They only ever seem to have one checkout open though.

Go here instead of Fresh choice glen eden, if possible

Very good parking under cover not uncovered. Long ramp up to supermarket and no customer lift. There is good prices on food here.
