It was good but what I don't understand is why there's no foil bag for the hot chicken. And you have to carry this sometimes leaky bag right through the shop. It's full of chicken bacteria. Dripping and touching your other groceries. Until you get a foil bag at the checkpoint. Imagine the droplets of 100 chickens through the day. Yuck!

This store it’s really big inside Lots of car parking Not so busy at the counter Food is fresh at this place I just feel little not much but little bit costly They have nice big space but have limited fruit and veggies section surprisingly they didn’t have Apples And Oranges I didn’t look much as was trying to find apples and Oranges At then at the end I had to compromise with green apples #green limes are $50 per KGs #Limited stock on breads #body wash bottles were kept opened or little bit leaked I will give them 3stars not less as my response is quite not good or not too bad so it’s okay to be fair is may be they will improve these things based on demand

A medium to large size countdown that has most of the stuff you need for day today grocery. They do have vegetables section and gluten-free produce too. Has self check out and counters as well. Busy most of the time as it is located inside Westfield shopping mall.

It is now by far the best Supermarket I've ever shopped at and it has everything I need throughout every Covid lockdown it has been very handy for me if I go by push bike and once a week I've shopped there to get myself plenty of essential supplies and groceries all right through Covid lockdown and and that same location I know has been in business for quite a lot of years as I have known that Supermarket since the 1980s

I shop here on the regular and can't help but notice the increase in prices since the lockdown.. come on Countdown we are all off work until further notice and can't afford your price increases at any time let alone now! Also your shelves were empty for alot of basics! Im shopping for 3 different people as per instructions from the Govt.. Can you at least restock the shelves a little quicker for those who come later in the day to help YOU avoid congestion and longer ques.. would be much appreciated 👌

Compared to most countdown supermarkets, this one is by far the most unorganized and untidy of them all. The freezer section is just a bunch of random items thrown into the same freezer unit and the labels are all over the show. The fruit and vege section tends to always have poor quality fruits, sometimes in advance stages of moulding and spoiling. The layout is also weird. Not great. The only reason for stars is the staff, they're great. Friendly, polite and helpful.

The reason for the 4 stars was that I had one customer burping in my ear when I came out of the shop and she never apologised. Some people need to use their manners. Very, very busy supermarket but unlike other supermarkets, the shelf packer staff members never get in the way, while buyers are browsing the aisles. The fruit and fresh vegetable dept. is outstanding, as is their bakery section. Top marks too, for staff friendliness and a bright very clean shopping environment.

My daughter took me too do my shopping, as I was unable to drive.we arrived round 8.20am ,which is a bit late for me, I'm normally there round 7.30am. She was quite perturbed as we entered the veg/fruit area I couldnt go down the aisle with the trolly cos 2 staff members had both their trolleys straddle across the aisle and yapping their heads off....poor example when we are still in level 3.... Then when I went ahead to the bread department theres another staff member her trolley right in the middle so I had to wait for her to come out and as it was she didnt even apologize....My daughter came away very disappointed as she goes to countdown in mangere where she says they mighten have a big selection but the service is great!!!! Hopefully when I'm able to drive myself , x my fingers I wont have this same experience again......

It's offen said that people make a place what it is. Countdown at Manukau mall demonstrates this principle to perfection. The staff here among the most friendly and helpful people around. Many items not priced. Probably the smallest and worst fresh meat display I've ever seen in a supermarket. You'll get hemmed in by the online shopping carts. Used to like the Freshhzone sausages but now Countdown don't make their own and the replacements shrink to half size when cooked. Shopping here is tedious and most staff don't care any way.

Deli closes at 8pm. I learnt the hard way after walkn in at 8.30pm to buy some ham for lunch the next day but the guy at the customer service desk opened it up for me and got me what I wanted. Top points for that good sir.

Just went shopping forgot my bags when I tried to use the store basket the attendant said I could take it out side. After explaining I left the bags in the car she went and got me a trolley. Way to go the extra mile! #whyishopatcountdown
