Pretty standard store. Some shelves are in disarray or completely empty, seems as though staffing is low, which I do understand during these troubling times. Consequently, the staff who are there aren't as friendly or bubbly as usual.

This is not my local & I dont often come here however this place always has a clean & tidy appearance the times I've visited. Door security man is friendly & same with the smiley checkout lady that served me (furthest checkout from entrance). Unfortunately the only downside was that stocks were low & some shelves were empty such as the brown sugar I was after...perhaps due to Covid or just the timing in the evening around 7pm. Plenty carparks & outdoor area appears safe. Will keep returning.

On a Monday was good,plenty parking and shelves well stocked(well for the items I was after)and had some good prices in meat and chicken section.

Probably one of best countdown I ever like in nz. As I work nearby so often I come here my company grocery shopping. Huge spacious environment is awesome n I normally go with my scooter but again really nice. Big problem for the shop to improve would be the price tag difference to check out counter meaning even if u think u get special price, it may be not when u check out so this is my personal experience but I like to check how much I pay so I pick up many times n this is the only problem really bother me. Therefore check out when u pay for is good habit to have. Enjoy it.

Great store. Very clean. Wide spaces for social distancing. Lines for queuing are very organised and clear, and again, lots of space for social distancing

Customer service was satisfactory, staff were genuinely kind and offering to help locate missing products that weren't placed in my click and collect trolley which were paid for. So thank you to the staff for your help, the supermarket wasn't full with members of the public, which made for ample room to move around in the store while we looked around. The sanitation tables were full with paper towels, hand sanitizer, wipes and QR code for the sinage was up for scanning. Overall the experience was good.

Trolley retrieval was a task. By the time I was able to pry one apart it was missing the pull-out seat thingy. To be fair tho that sort of thing happens all the time in south auckland. My shopping experience was nice. Store was bright, welcoming and clean.

3 stars due to seeing cold foods put back in fridge after being left out on shelf ..I've seen it.. also not updated website hours that state closes 9pm ..probably from covid early hrs but come on how many customers have checked the website and gone to other open shops ..we did .. Alcohol so close to entrance I've seen young kids run out with whole bladders of wine removed from box ...nothing done to improve this

The shop was lovely and spacious. The staff need an improvement though. We went in everything was fine. when we got to the counter we felt like the cashier were in a rush. She was scanning and then just threw everything across the counter. I wasn't expecting her to like carefully placing everything but not like this either. I didn't felt welcome for the most part. I also didn't hear any announcements to say that they are closing or anything so I figured she might just had a bad day or just tired after a long shift.

the selection is fine, and the staff are polite. But there is almost always at least one beggar out front. today there are 3. 2 on one side of the door and 1 by the ATM on the other side. I felt bad for the florist as the lobby stank of smoke from the guy by the ATM just sitting there smoking.

The ladies there are very lovely and offer alot of friendly services. Sometimes it gets intimidating when you have people outside wanting loose change.

I found this shop to be very clean and tidy. Some of the customers can be very rude but you keep away from them. The Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them to help you with. I enjoy going to shops which have self-service check outs. They can save a lot of time waiting in line. Specially when I am in a hurry. Unlike other shops I find that here these machines do not get to buzy. On the whole this is a pleasant shopping experience.

It is easy to find items due to the organised floorplan. All the staff that I have interacted with are really friendly and helpful. This store is never out of the items I purchase on a weekly basis. Once in a blue moon I'll come across opened food or refrigerated products in the shelving but that doesn't deter me from shopping there. I have also done online shopping/pick up when I finish work late and so far I've had all positive experiences. Prompt packing, communication and pick up. Thank you Countdown staff :)

I always seem to go there and its not busy so that was great, but the Staff are very sour. i dont know if its because they are having a bad day but everytime i went there during my holiday period it was as if these ladies had the whole world on their shoulders and it would be the end of the world if they smiled and were polite. it was very uncomfortable each time i was served by supervisors or check out managers like as if there job is superior over me as the customer, please take a look at were you are working its COUNTDOWN not Corrections.

Countdown Manurewa handles the Lockdown levels very well. This time there has hardly been a noticable depletion of stock levels and if you go at the right time there aren't long queues either.

I go here only when they have good deals. But ther service is quite good. Produce nice and fresh. Meat is overpriced, would benefit from some cheaper cuts. They have free fruit for kids while your shopping. Staff are lovely.

This supermarket is so clean and tidy . It is a very relaxing enjoyable shopping experience . It has a great product range and the products on special are easily identified with the specials labels . Staff are helpful enough . . It also a bonus that there is heaps of carparking right outside and the carpark is always easy to find a park in . The only downside for me as I can easily overspend in this store because it is laid out so well and looks so neat and tidy . I just want to fill my trolley up with all the nice stuff !!! I would recommend this supermarket over the other supermarkets in Manurewa .

Countdown always has everything I wantalthough last time I checked they didn't sell vegan cheese. Things may have changed though. There is lots of space for parking and allocated ones for wheelchairs and mother's with prams. Customer service is always good aswell. I like countdown

The store inside is starting to deteriorate. Outside is always a complete mess. Rubbish every where. I have left feedback about the store performances outside and nothing been changed. So many people park in the disabled parking without displaying a card. People even park on the foot path ! For effs sake ! I get, it's South Auckland but why do people continue to be arrogant and lazy.

This is 1 of the newer Countdowns. It is very clean, tidy an very lite an bright. Usually I find the staff very helpful. Not so 2day. I asked 1 worker where I could locate a certain item. This person couldn't undastand wat I said. I hav had facial surgery which can make it harder 4 sum peeps 2 undastand me but the staff member jus told me 2 go 2 information. I asked there an he jus told me 2 look down a certain aisle. I had alredi looked down that aisle an told him they weren't there He said they r there an 2 look again. I was disappointed wiv these 2 staff members lack of interest in helping.

Very nice supermarket stopped here for all of our supplies and sundries for the 21-day trip that we had planned for New Zealand.

I like this countdown. You can get a lot of products at this supermarket that you don't normally get at the other local supermarket. The staff are friendly and there's plenty of parking however there's plenty of bad drivers not looking where there going or use there don't indicators! There a few potholes in the car park that could do with repairing.

Nice modern Countown store with clean and well maintained facilities. Easy access from two roads to the large carpark. Do note that shopping bags are no longer provided so bring your own or purchase the ecobags instore for future reuse. The store has a wide selection of everyday necessities along with the liquor, fresh fruit, deli etc. Staff were helpful and polite. Self service is provided but Card Only.
