One of the shop part of mt Wellington shopping centre. Centred in the middle of mt Wellington. Lots of deal going on. Great signage about hand washings, sanitizing and track and trace. Very spacious, mask wearing a must, lots of signage about 2mtr distance at counters.

Straddling two major roads with lots of parking and ancillary shops laundry liquor store this is a great place to shop buy your lotto. Friendly efficient staff.

Good job guys!! Ive been visiting several (3 actually) countdowns since we've been in lockdown. I have to say so far these guys have been on the ball. The security guard was alert and making sure no one got past her! Once inside we customers were given reminders to keep our distance from one another. As for stock?? Pretty much the same everywhere. If its there, its there if its not....tough!! Keep it up guys!! Be kind, stay safe!

Biggest countdown outlet in Mt. Wellington area. The only grocery shopping mall which is open till midnight 7 days a week. The goods are much cheaper compare to other countdown outlet in the area. Plenty of parking available too. Every Tuesday they have morning vegetable open market for fresh and cheaper deals on vegetables.

Well laid out and spacious grocery store with a great range of products and look at these fab looking cocktail mixes. Makes you want to buy a bottle or two of spirits and hold a party.🤩

Very clean & beautifully organised. Lots of variety. Great checkout customer service where they packed our shopping into our bags. We don't have this variety or customer service at the Mangere East, Mangere Central, Auckland Airport, Manukau & Hunters Plaza Countdown.

Heaps of parking, well spaced out shop with a good variety of products. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only down fall is the odd begger every now and then at the front of the shop. Edited. Becca one of the workers was extremely helpful on my last visit, actually taking me to where the product I couldn't find was, then doing so for another customer even though she was very busy restocking the freezers. Has kind of become our local. It's an older store but kept well. Underground parking is always nearly empty which is great. Try and avoid the checkout operator who scans super fast while you're trying to frantically pack, hoping that groceries don't start falling off the miniscule counter area. She won't help you pack.

Good selection of products available at this countdown. With my recent trip there this evening, i am concern about the cleanliness in terns of regular sanitization of high tough point area. I was shopping around for almost an hour due to the queue at check out. I did not see any staff attempt to clean or sanatise after serving each customer. Is this not what supposed to be done? Also social distancing is not practice by everyone in the store. I was queuing in line for check out and witness a number of people try to get through and were getting real close to one another and those people were not wearing mask either. I know that there's only so much the store can do but what is being done exactly to combat that issue?

I like the variety of food in there but staff is slow and isn't helpful at all. They didn't want to sell the alcohol even though we had a right ID (expired but with the letter from embassy which confirms identity, they didn't even read it). The most interesting part is that previously they sold alcohol to us with this ID and letter. I am very disappointed...

This supermarkets car park has got dirtier and scruffier over the past year. Bakery is poor. Just selling cheap food, not great variety. Its a shame as this was my go to. Feel like I am going to a store in low socio economic area. Not for me sorry.

A clean and bright supermarket, reasonably well laid out, with plenty of parking in their basement parking lot. Pricing here is reasonable, but not quite as cheap as the other local supermarket up-the-road. Very generous trading hours of 6am to 12pm.

Nice supermarket in Mt Wellington. Good variety of stocks. This is our go-to place for groceries every week. Price wasn’t too bad. It’s actually cheaper for some products. Parking wasn’t too bad. We always get parking quite easily.

Loved it. Clean, fresh, isles very well marked so easy to navigate, without first having to poke your neck in every isle. Stock looked packed with care and precision, did not feel over cluttered with useless stuff - got a few real handy, color-matching, well priced kitchen utensils. Bulk stacks were useful, neatly displayed, not too "in your face". Staff were professional, yet personable. If this Countdown was in my area, pretty sure it would be a new 'go-to'. Thanks guys, for getting so many things 'right', from a client's perspective.

The store has improved the layout of groceries etc. But there never seems to be enough checkout operators. Do not do self service as takes jobs away. Much better with one of your friendly operators.

20May17 Friendly to customers and even the occasional beggar with loyal customers and well laid out store. Outside this Countdown store's front door year after year in the first week of May I collect donations for the Salvation Arny's annual Red Shield appeal and the store management is very supportive. Well done Countdown for being a major community asset.

Thorough Covid19 prevention was in place today when I went to this particular Countdown. Great to see a dedicated attendant registering each customer and also spraying hand sanitizers to each customer as they entered.

Spacious, quiet, and well stocked. At this Countdown, you don't get the usual Sunday madness of the crowds getting groceries for the week. Also, they play Kiwi artists on the instore radio which is much appreciated.

This must be one the largest supermarkets in Auckland. Great selection. They have items I haven't seen in other Countdowns. Friendly service and loads of parking. There is a nightmarket in the carpark on a Tuesday too.

Shopped here for years until discovering that the store in st John's was much cleaner and has a better range of products. Mt Wellington countdown often has homeless people camped outside, which in of itself I have no issue with except they can sometimes be unreasonable, irritating or aggressive.

Im a regular at this Countdown for the last 9yrs but since the closing of the Sylvia Park branch, this one has quickly gone down hill. Many times shelves are half empty. Bakery near empty. Meats nearly gone and so on.... The new Staff are very unfriendly. Countdown and the management team at Mt Wellington have not planned well for this transition nor after more than a month are not getting it together.

I have reviewed this supermarket previously, giving good marks but now I am not impressed with the two only racks for $1 and $2 bread where there was maybe 6 before. The result: bread sells out quickly and you have to purchase more expensive bread, odd thing is the dollar bread is made by Woolworths, Countdown's owner, I popped into Countdown in Westfield,Chartwell Mall, same thing, two racks, possibly more profit in the dearer bread maybe!

Tidy store, convenient for a quick stop and it has handy underground parking if the weather is bad/hot. Doesn't stock Sushi, I guess Countdown have flagged it as not that type of store, if they took their blinkers off they would see the Sushi store next door does a roaring trade.
