There is something about a Countdown supermarket that is Exceptional. Their stores are well laid out, the width of the isles makes me think it would be easy to fit in another row but that width allows any Customer to stop and browse at the range of goods for sale without having to move along because your trolley is blocking someone else. I'm a person who will keep going back to the same store because of the shopping experience. Satisfied 😌

Countdown Newmarket is my favourite. Over the Easter weekend I was served by RENEE at checkout and had a delightful experience although the store was very busy Renee was extremely helpful. Staff like Renee are huge assets to the store and make the shopping experience unforgettable.

Another amazing countdown supermarket. Big enough and plenty of options to buy groceries and household stuff. The vegetables were so fresh and healthy. Open till 10 pm though the mall closes at 7 pm.

Just had the best supermarket experience I've ever had. Huge thank you to my personal shopper who went above and beyond! Picking up my order was a breeze, and while I was there I saw the gluten free cupcakes that have been haunting my dreams! I didn't even know the supermarket sold those, so very pleased. There were cute stickers on my bags letting me know which bag had eggs and which needed to go in the fridge and freezer too ❤!

Better than most but nonetheless a supermarket that has displaced the small shopkeepers from our midst.

Really nice staff. Paki was amazing at the check out. And friendly too. And had way better stock than any other countdown I go to. Shame that it’s way out for me as I live in Bucklands Beach but as I went to Alpers down the road I decided to pay a visit. I definitely will be visiting this place again when I’m next in Newmarket 😊

Countdown NW is not the closest supermarket to where we live...however we have found they have a great range of products during the current alert level 3 in Auckland and the staff are extremely helpful... Amazing customer service from Camilla!! She is very proactive and provides great assistance with my online order !! We will continue to shop here because of YOU !!

I had such a great time at this countdown. The service was immaculate. The cashier, I think her name was eleisha?? Was super helpful. She helped me find the hummus and offered to carry my children, as well as providing for me as she works her part-time job at countdown. Thank you Countdown, New Market. Out of all the different grocery stores that we have visited all over New Zealand in this last year, the Countdown stores have always been our favorites! They always have the best selection of fresh vegetables and fruit, baked goods, canned items, bulk bin items, and many other things that we can’t always seem to find at other stores. They always have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian products for us, including non-dairy milk, cheese, ice cream, tofu, meat alternatives, and yogurt. We have always found good prices and selection on local and imported beers and wines, too. The prices are very reasonable. We have shopped elsewhere for very few items. All in all, great stores that are well stocked, have plenty of choices and a wide variety of options available, and good options for vegetarians or vegans.

A++ to countdown newmarket. Today we ordered click and collect where unfortunately several of our shopping bags were not in the trolley at pick-up. When I phoned to enquire the team were helpful and friendly, tracking down my missing bags and then arranged for them to be delivered to me at home the same evening! Mistakes happening, however, this is a great example of customer service, correcting problems and leaving the customer with a great experience. We even got a delicious little gift. Thanks to the team involved 👏

Enjoy shopping at this coundown it has wide spacious isles. A great variety of products catering to most tastes and prices. Staff are friendly. A nice shopping environment

Small sufficient sized store in the Westfield Mall, clean efficient hovering staff. For newcomers staff are little too speculative, couldn't browse and view the products with ease. I've relocated into my local area and have made do with the stores at close proximity... now that we've eased up on CoVid and I've settled into my new home I can look further a field for the products I normally buy...so my first experience at Countdown Newmarket wasn't that great... because I prefer that shopping area I will revisit and have a more relaxed browse.

This countdown branch is always tidy and well arranged with good quality items. Also is also conveniently located with 2 hour free carparks to which is easy to access.

Nice Place and People .You need to download an app to park your car in Westfield . there is a parking somewhere opposite tho. You can get a lot of your family needs here . During Covid lock down it is open and they ensure the 2m distancing.

On Monday 27 Feb I visited this store to do my weekly shop, on my way home from work. The trolley was full and I wasn't looking forward to lugging all the groceries up four flights of stairs at my apartment. Anyway the checkout operator greeted me with a smile, and began chatting in a friendly manner. She commented on my having a lot of shopping, and placed the bags in the trolley for me. She was so pleasant and engaging I was in a cheerful mood all evening. I regret that I don't know her name, but give full marks for a great experience.

Countdown Newmarket is located on level 4 of Westfield 277. A good time to go is the evenings when its not so busy. I prefer the beef from New World Remuera but everything else is comparable.

It's a bring new store in fancy new westfield mall. It may not have so much variety due to limited space. They have most of day to day stuff, also pick up online order available.

Love grocery shopping here, lots of deals nd variety of good quality products to choose from. It's open from 7am to 10pm for all your cooking needs or cravings and is conveniently located inside Westfield along broadway.

Went to get Ferrero Rocher on Christmas Eve but they had sold out. Otherwise it's nice, got plenty of options for everyone and it feels nice and pleasant to shop in.

No taxi rank so if you need to call for a taxi or uber no real safe place to wait. As a none driver I won't be shopping there again. Enquired at 2 helpdesks for directions to taxi rank. None offered as option.
