Good parking. Store was very clean. There was a good lot of trolleys . Shelves some getting low on stock but others were nearly full. Checkout waited in a queue only 3mins before being served. All stalf friendly. It was a very good day to shop.

Pretty much the only place with the pharmacy that is keeping the Plaza a float. Friendly staff and good service. Stock availability could be a bit better though.

The store and the staff are actually 5 stars but the pricing of product isn't. I'd NEVER do a full shop here as I would be paying $50 + more (depending on what I buy), when I compare pak n save Glen Innes. It's convenient for the odd thing.

4 and a half stars. Busy Saturday night making parking hard to get. But lots of yummy food stalls at great prices. Looks like you can get a variety of cellphone accessories and other knick knacks. Really enjoyed our first experience.

A medium size supermarket for the Pakuranga area. Been here in Pakuranga mall for over 20 years. Steadfast with not so much progress and flair. With current economic conditions supermarkets everywhere are struggling to survive, some are doing better than others, in overall everyone are still struggling to survive the condition. Perhaps next year it'll have much better condition & outlook.

Great variety of online options when buying organic items. Although the fresh organic produce is very limited, it still is worth your time exploring online home delivery. Join their delivery club and get free delivery on your orders. I didn't know how much time you can save by using your mouse to shop and save the hassles of driving, parking and dodging supermarket shoppers and then waiting in a queue to get served. At last there has been an upside to Corona in my life!

It's Countdown . The checkout operator (male) would have to be the slowest. Please be very, very careful in the car park. Dangerous. Speeding drivers.

Friendly, helpful staff. We were finishing up our early morning shopping before the tills were open and one of the staff noticed us moving toward the self checkout, she opened a till for us to assist us with a quicker, easier purchase.

I popped in here late at night to collect a few items. The store was nice and clean and tidy and I managed to collect the few things I needed quite quickly. The staff were friendly and polite, even given the late time of day, and the staff being near the end of their shift. Later in the evening this is a great supermarket to do a quick small shop as you can be in an out in a matter of minutes and there seldom seems to be a long wait at the checkout.

Overall a very average shopping experience. The carpark could do with an overhaul - not great for accessibility. Often out of stock of what I'm after which may just be down to bad luck. A very compact supermarket - you'll be bumping trolleys a fair bit in there.

Great place, I like the layout.. annoyed that they run outta stock pretty quickly though (this was pre-lockdown too). Also, since being rebranded (homebrand to Woolworths) I noticed the price of things has noticeably increased over the past year or so which sucks.

Every time I'm shopping here they don't have what I need. BUT they lady's that work here are amazing! Really are lovely and kind.....really.

When in the store on December 21st I fell over an empty milk crate, both men on the staff helped me up. Thank you again. I was very grateful, especially being in my mid 70's. I informed a lady on the 'help' desk that I had fallen and was given a form to fill out. Next thing the Manager was by my side, asking if I was alright and offered to drive me home. While that was not necessary, I was grateful for the offer. The Manager also said, that she would ring me the next day to see if I was still alright. For which she did the following morning. Great service. While I live on the other side of Auckland, I do shop in this store regularly and will continue to do so. Thank you again for that service and a very clean store to shop in.

This Countdown always seems to be very busy, mainly because it is super convenient, and really well-established. My problem is that the prices here are always just that bit more than other supermarkets in the area. I guess I'm paying for the location and the convenience.

While Plaza is is dead the supermarket is tightly packed with stock and is hard to manuvore in some areas, looks dirty cause in my opinion to much stock.

Countdown is very famous place for shopping in New Zealand. All the food stuff is available and cheaper than the retail shops. Have the option to buy fresh fruit and variety of vegetable at very good prices and have the option to buy organic products at little higher price. Have plenty of selection for milk product, different kind of fresh milk in different volumes, many kind of butter and cheese products available. What I not found was dried milk as we found more famous in Asian countries. Variety of meat and fish and seafood option available and big pronse are available as cleaned and row. Bakery items are very popular here and can have the bread at cheaper price for NZD1 when the expire date is closer, such as with in 3-4 days expire. But still in very good quality. Have many other bakery products including different types of pizza to be prepared at home. Many kind of seed products as canned available and also fresh fruit as canned and these are in very good price. There are different kind of seeds available with toasted and with different mixtures. Big variety of chocolate collection also available. Near the entrance fresh flowers also available and prices are cheaper as I felt. The above are what I found interesting for me. But there are many other food options available where I forgot to mention. Highly recommend for nice shopping experience.

A lot of shops have closed since the lockdowns. This must be a financial hard ship on a lot of businesses. Locals should support the mall as much as they can.

Stopped in here yesterday to buy a few goodies and accidentally had a mishap at the DIY tills. Luckily Annette was there to help! She went out of her way to help me out and afterwards I watched her help all the other customers with the same and jolly manner. Good staff should always be commended – Give Annette a few stars for the month Countdown!

I think this countdown shop need to be upgraded, there is alway many people, but very limited choice and it works only until 10, so we more often have to use botany countdown while we are living next to countdown Pakuranga!
