Good place to shop however i wish they would stay open for longer like other shops do. Good staff so nothing to fault on them just hate having to use my lunch break to do my shopping ya know?

Not too bad for countdown.. choices are limited.. staff is ok ok.. they are normally too busy talking amongst each other.. but at the same time lot of people come to mall who visits countdown too.. overall I won't go for my usual grocery shopping..

My local supermarket, with a good range of food and excellent staff who go out of their way to help you. Entrance protected to ensure signing in, and not too many in the store at one time due to Covid. You can "click & collect" or order a home delivery.

Lady at checkout was really careful at packing my food stuff and very pleasant. One problem I have is that no one was scanning in!! No person to check to see if this was being carried out! Surely if we need to keep on top of this virus as much as possible, we need a person at the entrance to advise people to scan

Reasonably large and handy if you are shopping in the mall. Close to banks etc. However, shelves are often empty especially for the goods on special. There is only a tiny number of the smaller trolleys which are better for my back. These trolleys also need to be collected more often as there are not many (if any) available at any one time. Goods from their bakery are quite often only 1 day before expiry. Friendly staff but definitely room for improvement.

Locates inside St Lukes Mall, at the ground floor. A convenient place for food shopping when you are going to the mall. Great range of groceries and stuff. Friendly and helpful staff. It usually busy and crowded here so sometimes you will need to wait in a long line for check out. This Countdown supermarket closes at 8pm, a bit different with others. Remember to check for parking time

Visited after the level 3 lockdown between 5.30 - 6.00 pm. All good. No rush. Could register my visit without any fuss on the QR code very clearly displayed near the entrance. There was a staff member at the entrance, I believe to monitor the number of ppl getting into the supermarket. Shelves stocked as seen on pre - lockdown times. Most ppl were completely at ease barring a couple who were very hyper!

It's an standard supermarket, but their particularly as the others supermarkets in NZ is that you can do your payment without the necessity of a cashier in front of you! You pay directly to the machine. Nice, isn't it? :D

Great place to do top up shopping. It gets very crowded and the check out takes way too long during peak times. If you need a full shop be prepared to spend a bit if time there.
