Wish there was a better range at my local countdown but obviously the size of the store limits options, and for a relatively remote community it does a decent job.

Easy access and it actually had the items I was looking for after 3 previous supermarkets were out of stock! So HUGE props to them! Efficient staff & clean store. Definitely worth the travel! 👍🙂

A quick visit to get one item from the "milk" section. A quick easy visit. Busy but not too busy. A fast walk through the store, only waited behind a nearly finished customer at the check out, pay and away.

Friendly, efficient staff who are always on point during the weekdays and weekends. They employ locally and it so shows in the positive attitude to customers. Produce goes fast, with empty shelves a regular occurrence from evening onwards which is not a recommended time to shop.

Sometimes short on regular items and its a few weeks before restocked, yet you can go to other Countdowns and they are always fully stocked. Sometimes the produce and fruit seem dated.

On my most recent visit found checkout operators to be rude and unhelpful which is a shame as this lets the nice ones down. An unpleasant experience. This store needs to send their staff to Pak n Save for training as there they value and respect their customers.

Often missing key items you'd find at most countdowns so the selection is a bit lacking, and the bakery bread is stale even when it's still fresh and warm, but the staff are awesome and so friendly

One of our local supermarkets, friendly staff everything you need for your shopping we make a point of shopping there when we can due to the fact they hire people with disabilities to collect the trollies from outside. Good stuff guys and girls. Thank you 😃

This is a supermarket.....the only one in Te Atatu. It has fruit, milk, bread and other stuff. The staff are pretty cool. They have free fruit for kids by the front entrance. That is REALLY cool. Adults still pay. No freebies for you.

To be honest the 6-8 checkouts are all unmanned except one...with pretty much no staff insight.i think they just reduce staff to cut costs and expect everyone to use self serve checkouts..not very good when you have a trolley full and there's 6 other people with trolleys along with you waiting to be served..and then when staff are called to meet the customer demand at checkouts no one comes..countdowns meat is way overpriced...fresh produce is terrible also..bought a $4.99 bagged lettuce to find when I get home it's rotten through the middle! Step it up countdown

The location is convenient. There is good parking available. Some of the staff are fantastic, however they are usually out of stock of at least one thing on my list, this can often be just the bread or milk we use. . The prices are higher than pak n sav.

Good Countdown, you could live on The Atatu Peninsula and get everything you need to live and never leave the Peninsula however some other Countdowns seem to have a wider range. Recently upgraded and very clean and tidy. Parking is reducing with development of the old Service Station site

Countdown Te Atatu Peninsula is okay... Their range is getting better, but is still limited due to its small-ish size. It's in West Auckland, so you can't buy alcohol there, which is a pain. While the staff in general are friendly, they are ALWAYS short-staffed, so the queues are often extra long. If you need to get a lot of things, I'd recommend going first thing, or late at night.
