This shop has improved over last few years. I gave up on it some years ago but they seem to have upped their we effort. Smaller than most Countdowns but still a very good variety of goods. Clean tidy and we'll presented. Entrance to shop area much cleaner than it used to be.

Great Local Grocery Store - Good Variety lots of specials keep an eye out for mailer specials larger shops are general more expensive but essentials are sometimes cheaper. Overall Good Shopping Experience. Access to public toilets, friendly staff. I recommend meat section provide better cuts.

it's fine for a quick flick to grab something last minute but outside of that it's weirdly laid out and doesn't have a great selection. It's really weird that the fruit and vegetables section is all the way at the back while the fizzy drinks and bakery items are front and centre - its got loads of junk food and bakery items but if you want flour or healthy items your better off heading to the Mount Roskill countdown or Dominion Road. It's feels like its also always out of stock even before covid - amazing customer service though they are so lovely and understanding

Check out can be a little slow sometimes. However; some staff working very hard. Good sized store with plenty of parking. Decent products. Location is handy for pharmacy, restaurants, dollar store, library, public transportation.

Variable. As my closest supermarket I've been coming here for decades. I would not say that this place has a standard practice of being customer or service - centred. I've also had disappointments re fresh produce quality and price. The toilet is utterly disgusting... Grime on horizontal surfaces show it has not been cleaned for years! How come you are happy presenting this image in a FOOD store? What does it say about your attitude to hygiene in general? Ugh!

During lockdowns it has way less of a queue than mt eden countdown. Evening shops can feel a bit unsafe on the rare occasion, and there are always beggars and hawkers outside, which Countdown does nothing about generallly.

This is a fairly small supermarket that has an adequate range of products and services that you would expect from a large chain store supermarket. Even though it looks like you can access it from the rear of the building, you can’t. You need to enter through the car park area. Provides all that you need for a weekly shop, at reasonable prices. Probably not the cheapest in the area, but ok for the convenience.

Good supermarket that I pop into when I visit the area. It has a sort of reverse layout to many supermarkets (with the veggies being on the far side) but it is pretty easy to find everything. Doesn't have the product selection of the Mt Eden one but it is smaller so that should be expected. I also like that there is a pharmacy next door, a pet store nearby, and it's near the dog park.

Yesterday I was shopping for a countdown online for my guest dinner last night. The delivery run was scheduled for 1.30 - 4. and I was so busy the whole day, cleaning my house, waited until deliver my order from countdown to get ready my dinner for 12 guest s,But the Packing department misplaced my items from the 1 pm delivery run, I was so frustrated, because I was running out of time to cook dinner for my guests, I did Talked to Three kings countdown as that was their mistake, The person did answer my call replied me saying that earliest i can get my items By 6 Pm, which make me so upset , and I did ask if I can have a chat with Store Manager , I had the nicest person helping me. I think Her name is Jane or James , She did apologise and was the nicest manager I have ever seen In my entire life, she made me calm first. She then proceeds to arrange my delivery earliest as possible, Well, she dropped my grocery at my address, I was so pleased, such an amazing Manager, it seems it is something she just does for her customers, it is not a store policy. she is beyond great customer service, taking pride in your work. I plan on calling the call centre manager to leave a good feedback to her service, I’m sure they will think I’m just another customer with a compliment but really, I just want to call and say what a thoughtful employee they have, and I hope it makes her day. and she made my day yesterday, She is just BEST OUT OF BEST<

Just your average supermarket except for the awesome staff. There was this dude, a tall guy whose name was Dion I think, who was very helpful and knew everything in the store and was a massive help.

Usual produce but meat is expensive and any good specials are gone early as they don't hold stock to refill shelves. So shop before work NOT after work. Parking had to find between 10am and 5pm.

Well parking is great. There is a post office and doctor and cafe just nearby and good yum cha restaurant. So its well placed. The supermarket itself needs a bit of a facelift. Last yime I was there I jad an inquiry about ice block moulds and although it turned out that Countdown dont stock them (nor does New World or Pac n Save) staff were exceptionally helpful and very polite.
