Shop is a way from where I live and I only shop there occasionally. I go there as wide range of luxury treats. Love their pre-made curry and desserts. They also stock a wide range of my favourite icecream NZ pure if you are willing to pay a bit more then worth the visit. Fresh juice is the best I ever had

Very different from your conventional supermarket, this store is very "organic". They sell quality wine and food, including unique cheese and spices. They even sell ready to eat meal sets, enjoyed a chicken salad for lunch that day. Would recommend if looking for fresh produce and food.

I love this shop. Even during L4 they are well organized. The food is lovely. I just like looking around and for the first time I took my son in there and I've never seen him so animated! He wanted to see the meat counter and if it was up to him we would have spent so much more. They had some french goats cheese I'm keen to try and some Four Sauceman rib rub for our ribs. The pizza we bought was a little pricey but it looks delicious. $20 for a large pizza but it had prosciutto on it and was made in Matakana so you know it's gonna be good. I bought some reduced buffalo mozzarella for $7.99 to break up to go on top.

Loved it - especially the deli counter. Great service too. They had my favorites - Portuguese Custard Tarts - which (being from Hamilton) I haven't had in years. I bought one, along with an excellent flat white, for my trip back home. Very happy 😊

Definitely the place to go if you're wanting something a bit different or can't get at your usual supermarket. Christmas is great there as they have lots of great ideas and things. Not the place to do your weekly shop for a family of 4 but I love the quality and selection.

Beautiful clean and spacious store, great fresh produce and other products; some good specials at times (the special prices are usually on the fruit and veg. The other products can be expensive.) Friendly and helpful staff; in one instance, a staff member even gave me full details of where I could get a particular veggie that they didn't have in their store at that time - and, thanks to her accurate directions, I found the tiny little greengrocers, and bought that elusive veggie I craved. Would like to thank her for that, if I could - definitely a 'going above and beyond the call of duty' moment. And for a bit of contrast: that posh nosh veg place further up the road actually advertised the fact that my elusive veggie was in stock. Drove all the way out there; you guessed it. No one had ever heard of it. 'But you have it in stock!' I almost wailed. Obviously it was a ninja veggie. What began as a wasted journey, turned into a fruitful one; I went down the road to Farro Fresh, and their lovely helpful staff member saved my bacon.

A very pleasant food store with a good selection of fresh and preserved items. Fresh fruit and veg all look good, although perhaps a bit more expensive for most items than a high street supermarket chain. Good butchery section and a decent choice of festive favourites. Great pies and cakes. Road access when coming from the motorway is not ideal but ok once you work it out. A good place to buy some tasty special items.

Great shop. Good range of fresh veges, meats, cheeses and gourmet items. Can also pick up everyday items as well although a little more pricey than the supermarket. Their meal kits are great if you wanting a good easy to prepare meal that you can do quickly and easily. Their fresh bread is great and also a good range of ready to eat lunches and salads. There is a good deli section with specialty cheeses and meats as well as other antipasto ingredients. They also have a wine section which sticks different wines both imported and local. They make a good coffee and have a great range a sweet treats to go with it. Parking is good and it is usually easy to call in and grab what you want. A great shop to have in the area.

This has become a favourite supermarket for locals and we find ourselves buying more here. A supermarket where you will find those particular things you won’t find anywhere else. Good wine selection. And house cafe with excellent coffee. You can grab a coffee and some lunch and sit at the large tables and then carry on shopping. Some items you can buy cheaper at other supermarkets but this is a place to go for the experience of enjoyable shopping with new things to see. Great at Christmas time with a lot of imported products.

I have one thing to say about this place: It beats all the grocery stores by far.

Not the best, not the worst. It definitely is more highly priced and is a 'premium' supermarket. I've been popping in to grab lunch a bit and the deli system is very frustrating and inefficient. Queue once for your sandwich, again for the coffee and finally a third time for checkout. Then hang around in the aisle getting in everyone's way while you wait. Not smart. This should really be reconsidered. Queues can be annoyingly slow too...a better system for managing surges should be in place, especially when you pay such high prices.

The Farro Fresh chain of stores are a great fresh food and specialist food place to go. With great fresh food variety and quality, they team this well with numerous specialty food options including delicatessen delights, cheeses, baked goods, numerous wines, quality meat and poultry options alongside a butchery, all the way through to spices, wines, sauces and other dining and entertainment staples. Make sure you order a coffee when you walk in, and enjoy it as you ponder your feeding options as you go round this perfectly sized market location. The North Shore branch is well staffed and although queues at the checkouts can exist, they always try to push through quickly. If you want day to day supermarket options for home, this isn’t the place to go, so keep that in mind - it is however your food one stop shop of choice, and with the variety and quality they have, you’ll be back time after time.

Great product selection. High quality too. Some products prices are comparable to the rest of the supermarkets in Auckland. But I normally go for the better quality products such as cheese, meat, veges and pasta. Also, you don't have to fight with other people too in store, it's much more civilized.

They have a lot of organic food options and source their products from reputable places. Do expect to significantly pay more than you would at a standard supermarket, however many people believe this cost is worth it.

Very nice place, has some good deals and tonight (13 Feb) they're hosting an Asian Food Market til 8pm, plates are $5 & you get a reasonable amount of food. Definitely try the Feijoa sorbet from Kohu......really yummy and just the thing after eating the tasty foods offered. 😊

A shop with all those treat foods in one place: Wild Wheat breads, L'Authentique sausages, good wines, fancy crackers and cheeses. Good quality fresh produce too. Staff are super-polite and helpful, and they even Marshall the car park on busy days. Thumbs up.

Nice food especially lunch kind of food. When I loved nearby I went so often and they staff made an effort to remember me and what I like to order. Price wise things are somewhat expensive but its Farro, its an up-market place so that shouldn't be a shock. If I'm nearby I always try make a trip in to get the mediterranean chicken sandwich.

Great range of products. Just be sure if you pick up something on special that the "special" barcode is scanned rather than the original. I've had that happen a few times now on "reduced to clear" products, and by the tinge I've realised, it's a bit out of the way to go back to.

I visited this particular branch 26.07.2020 during lockdown and their hygiene implementation is good. Staffs are really organised and seems like even if we are under this unfortunate event, they make the most out of their job by being a good team. It showed like they are all good friends. They’re all accommodating. Aside from their good team, I really liked the grocery section especially the ready made food. The potato au gratin is my faveeeee! Would come back for some more. I would order the spaghetti as well but that time it’s only available for family size and I am my only family. Lol 😂 😂😂😂 but would come back again! The pastries they offer is also good! I fell in love with the apple crumble pie. The vanilla eclair that I had is very tasty too! Probably a tad dry for my liking the bread itself, but it all compensate because of a good Pâte à Choux filling, really good!!!!! I would still buy it! Thank you, Farro team! 🙂

Great place for fresh produce and the meat counter is hard to beat. Can easily cost you a fortune for other stuff though. Great Coffee there with a selection of Allpress, Cafe Supreme or Kokako at the takeaway counter. They also have a great selection of wine, cheese and craft beer.

Great selection of products and knowledgeable staff. I needed help finding various cheeses to pair with certain red wines I was purchasing. I ask the guy who was working in the chilled foods section for cheeses to match my wines and he was spot on. My dinner party that night was an success.

All good. It's status in society here in what it attracts, not better produce on offer. Although the butchery is pretty awesome. Otherwise, great for a one off now and then flash up the BBQ night type thing. Can't say I'd go there for the weekly shop I'd go broke, but it is cool to go in now and then as stated already. Careful who you bump into or take too long in front of, the odd upper classed nobles can get a bit anti with you don't forget their lives are more important than everyone else, that would be about the only real downside and this is not Farro's fault. Can be quite an uncomfortable air sometimes depending on what types are in there shopping. Will visit again no doubt.

In comparison with other supermarket, we thought Farro is more expensive. Today you can get beautiful roses far cheaper than others here. You can have some Valentine's gift here under $10. Remember, some special needs to have their membership, but you can have at the check out counter.

Disappointed at the reaction from staff when returning a sub standard grocery item. Bought the item in good faith as a gift but we found it was spoilt when we unpacked it to consume. First reaction from staff was that it was that it might be how I stored it ( not true and proved when they found others on shelf in the same spoiled melted state) and second that it tastes fine so I should not be unhappy with it. What it looks like does matter when it is a gift and I did not like the implication that I should have been satisfied when it looked an utter spoiled mess.
