Decent sized supermarket. With pretty much all you need. Didn't really have any interaction with staff so can comment. Make sure you have your club card on your phone. It will save you money.

I like this supermarket. Clean, tidy and had all i wanted. Especially liked the Hotcross buns as spice mix included peel which others do not. Gives the buns that extra Easter taste.

Such a great atmosphere and the drinks are great. Wasn't great food though 😕 nachos with cheese and sour cream had a weird cheese sauce that had a flour texture so sadly sent them back, the quesadilla chicken texture was like tuna. Nice staff but you know they are stretched thin when they tell you they're trying to get to everyone with a stressed look. Nice place with room to improve.

New World supermarkets are most definitely a step up from Countdown and Pak n Save. It isn't a massive bulk food store that takes ages to walk the isles! Everything is well presented and prices similar to Countdown. The meat quality is well worth a mention too!!

Totally love this supermarket. Not the cheapest but have such a great range of product. Plenty of parking but do notice that some people use the car park to head off to the cafes and the reastaurants even though the signs say max 90 mins for customers only. Only grump is that last visit purchased some Pork and Peach poppers from the butchery only to find out at home, they were the Jalapeño type. Most of the family hate hot/ spicey so not a good night's meal.

Full size supermarket with in-house products. The self-service nuts section is excellent, especially the premium mixed nuts, available unsalted or salted. Fruit and veges section good with fresh produce. Deli, and a representative wine and beer section. Prices competitive. Staff friendly and helpful, both serviced and self-service checkouts. Good experience all-round.

Bakery Dept is excellent. The rest of the store is average in terms of range and price. It's certainly not the cheapest supermarket! Good parking and convenient location.

As my local, I'm always popping in here. Unfortunately, they seem to be deleting more & more lines - many of the our old favorites. I'll still be dropping in for the basics, as I think they're generally cheaper than Countdown (even though everything went up by at least 50c since New Year), BUT I will be doing my main shop elsewhere. The staff however, are great.

I sometimes pop round when I am in Orewa to grab something small. Things here are pretty easy to find and are plentiful. The staff are pretty good as well. One thing that I really like is the carpark layout and the fact that the bus stop is right by the building. There are pedestrian crossings everywhere there and a place to put your bicycle.

The express Lane needs to be open more as I see a lot of elderly waiting for long periods of time to go through at checkouts. Got to remember that our elderly are not confident on new technologies. The self service needs to be policed more as people go through with way more than 12 items.

By comparison with other supermarkets in the area New World is quite expensive so only go there on very few occasions. Also not a great variety of products stocked as Orewa NW is a smaller shop. As meats are packaged in smaller amounts it is popular with pensioners tberefore not recommded to visit on Pension Day.

This supermarket is much better since the premises upgrade I Mike the layout and product range is good. I also like the departments that are staffed as getting information on products at source is important to me I do not like departments that are display cabinets only the staff here are helpful and friendly well worth a visit

Not much change or innovation happening at this store. Any new product is more of the same. Boring vegetarian assortment. Vegetarian isn't just tofu, there's so much more. Purchasing listens to tips but doesn't act. Change would be good.

Orewa New World is a top supermarket. After years of shopping at Paknsave its refreshing to shop at a neat and tidy supermarket with well presented products even if its slightly more expensive.

Small - doesn't hold a large variety of products. It's ok for those last minute items you forgot to pack heading to the beach. If you're impatient, stay away from New World Orewa on Thursdays! You will be driven mental by the general snail pace and blocked isles. If you view Orewa as one giant retirement village; shop and drive to those conditions, you will make it through unscathed.
