Not just another supermarket. The bakery is very good. I have been given to understand that there are several cafes that source muffins and cakes from here.

I am always delighted to shop at this Store Today one of the ladies on the Register was particularly helpful ,when I couldnt remember my pin number ,and kept enough things back for me to be able to use my Paywave. Always a nice placeto shop. Friendly staff, customer service is really kind, great mannerism and kind attitudes. Well knowledgeable of products in isle's, Helpful information of complimentary recipes to accompany what I'm having. Love the discount values. Good carparking size.

Well established and our preferred shop. Long Bay is close to being comparable. 4 Square Torbay also a surprisingly excellent alternative. We typically frequent the closest store at the time, but still prefer Browns Bay New World.

Not as much variety of food here. Also don't expect to take plastic bags for recycling. They've stopped providing a receptacle. Countdown opposite does take plastic bags and there is a great variety of food to choose from. Makes shopping more interesting if you have the time. NW is good for a quick shop though.

This supermarket is a relief to go to during Covid. Trollys are sprayed after each use, hand sanitisers are always full and a disinfected table is ready for packing plus wide aisles. Lots of products and fresh produce.

Very much my local supermarket. I prefer it to countdown across the road, however there is always one or two they don't stock, hence the four stars. Staff are always incredibly friendly

This shop is well organized and is easy to find the products that I want. The prices weren’t too high and weren’t too low either, and the checkouts were easy to use, the staff were very friendly. I recommend New World!

Have been to all the other supermarkets and keep coming back go New World Browns Bay. My disability makes shopping a huge struggle yet here it doesn't create too much of an issue! The natural light is a big plus and makes the store much more pleasant to be in. The spacing and layout is great and doesn't create too much chaos and doesn't usually feel too crowded. Selection is great as well and easy to find. VEGETABLES AND FRUIT ARE THE FRESHEST of all competing stores by far. We religiously get our fresh goods from here because they are consistently fresh and great quality. All round A++

Lovely store. Very neat and tidy. Added bonus: I left my waist bag in the store with my passport in it. Went to the store the next day and bag was handed back to me. What fantastic staff and a massive relief for me.

Visiting this branch is always nothing short of pleasant. Staffs are always available, very helpful and accommodating. I have not yet looked for something that this branch does not have which only speaks very well about how they are on top of their inventory. Good job to the staffs!

Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

I prefer the New World because it has a carpark that makes sense. The store layout is also more sensible, with often those people standing there offering you free samples of things you wouldn't normally purchase. The samples are often pretty good, good enough to actually find something new and tasty.

Good but nor so plenty of different brands. Mainly if you want to buy the scratching tickets to win prizes and the last one of them is left into the display they don't want to sell you that, which can be the winner!

I just love New World Browns Bay. Its clean and very well organised. I Love tge colourful fresh vegies and flowers that greet you at the entrance. The fish is beautifully wrapped and sealed. The bakery is number one. The staff are Super Friendly!!!

Convenient for small purchases if you are in a hurry. Choose a kiwi staff member at the checkout as English is not fully understood especially if asking for a product. These staff tend to ask the kiwi staff member anyway for help.

Code: EZXUDNW When arriving at the counter I was greeted with a smile and 'hello' and politely asked, 'how was my day?' This made me feel that I was being acknowledged as a person, not a number. Sabilla the cashier and her helper had a positive, happy and professional manner. The helper knew how to pack my groceries appropriately into bags. In other words she didn't jam my bread in with the 2 litre milks which so many checkout operators do. I do strongly recommend going to New World to my friends as all the staff are friendly and helpful. Critique: There are a few odd grocery items that I have to go elsewhere to buy such as, garlic oil, Lemsip max blackcurrant, and my favourite South African wine Nederburg Rose'. If I could buy everything under one roof I would rate New World, Browns Bay 5 stars.
