P.The checkout operators are very good, the supervisors are very competent and generally the store is clean. However, the pricing and labelling of items is perhaps the worst I've ever seen in a supermarket. The number of items with no price on the shelf is staggering. Labels continually saying items are out of stock when clearly there is stock. It is totally unacceptable in a modern supermarket.
The senior management needs to seriously look into the issues raised. There is a lot of talk amongst the local community about these issues, so I'm not the only one. It's a pity that the store let's itself down in such a basic way, because the young employees need to see leadership from the seniors. It doesn't appear to be happening right now.
I'm not trying to pull anyone down here, especially not the young checkout operators and their supervisors. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. However it is time to get the store organised in a professional manner rather than the confused state it is apparently in now.
L.One of the best shopping Mall's on the East-side. Plenty of parking with a great range of shops & businesses. The premises inside & out, are always clean & well maintained. Big fan of this New World Supermarket. Their butcher, bakery, & deli are excellent. They stock a vast range of quality items, wines, & fresh products, & the staff are welcoming, approachable, super helpful & aim to please✨ Totally recommend ✨
B.Quite a nice and large Newworld. I did an online order and the pick up locers were outside by the carpark on the far end of the store. It was hard to see but there are red lockers there. There are a few spots for click and collect. When I went the lockers were closed so I had to press the button to get someone to bring out my order. I had a few question and they answered them on the spot which was helpful.
K.A good place to do your shopping. Clean and bright with an excellent choice. Very busy at times making it difficult to keep a reasonable distance. Great parking.

A.Good selection of wine and groceries, plenty of helpful staff and open checkouts. Usually no wait times.
B.Staff are generally friendly and the store is clean. A bit more expensive than some other grocery stores, but they usually have some decent discounts. Really convenient location on several bus routes. Love the variety of chilled drinks on offer too!

S.It's a supermarket, but I think it should be called an awesomemarket. With it's amazing range of Italian pasta and pasta sauces, based Italian food.
L.Good for a quick shop. Prices keep on creeping up New World, what is going on? You're showing massive proffits year on year, would be great if these franchises stop milking the people who support them.

Free parking in the Eastridge Centre makes it easier too.
G.The bread is amazing, far superior to Baker's Delight and other New World branches. I usually get the Ciabatta and the Wheatmeal. Also great selection at the deli. Meat, fish etc. Hard working, helpful and happy staff! I never encounter huge queues there either so it seems to be well staffed.

M.Always good to visit New World Eastridge, food is fresh, and the meat section is displayed well and always good meat. Staff are friendly and helpful and you should advertise that pineapple machine that prepares the pineapple to eat without too much handling. Although smaller in size, it is easy to find what you need in the store.

D.Big fan of this New World. Great selection of products to the point where I once asked if they could get me a certain type of hair product and the next time I revisited they had ordered it in! The layout just makes sense, easy to find what you are looking for and products grouped intuitively. There fresh produce, deli, butchery, seafood and bakery departments are also well run with a high quality line up. Service is usually pretty good too. All up one of my favourite supermarkets in Auckland.
M.Good quality products but not the widest range of choices. Still a good place to go if you want something that’s not in the usual cheaper shops
R.Shelf stackers know there stuff. I asked for an item and they directed me to the correct aisle with no hesitation. As a customer this is how it should be.
D.Overall its a really lovely place and I do enjoy coming here often, be it for the snack runs or hair cuts, it has a nice environment and mostly nice staff. However I struggle to give it above 3 stars as there is such a lack of mens stores. There are 3 women stores all next to each other yet no mens clothes or shoe shops. They are almost always empty so it sadly is a waist, could have such amazing shops there instead.
M.Very tidy supermarket with everything you might need in stock. The staff are very friendly. All our groceries were packed neatly and the staff go the extra mile. The prices of the goods are higher than other supermarkets like Countdown and Pack n Save. Would go back for special items I might need, but not the daily groceries.
T.What an amazing place!!! I was in the fruit in veg isle and could not decide what I wanted luckily a young employee named David was able to help me choice the best fruit of my life. He definitely deserves a pay rise.

A.We used to do online shopping at Countdown, but with the lockdown it became impossible to submit an online order. After a couple of years of doing only online, we had to go onsite shopping. So we went to the nearest supermarket, which is New World Eastridge. I found it very stressful at the beggining because of the hole virus situation. However, the staff was so friendly, kind and helpful at the supermarket that we are costomers now. Thanks to NW Eastridge staff. I didn't rate 5 stars because I found that somethings are cheaper but the final bill has been higher.
S.I know this shop like the back of my hand since I'm a local. Can get my weeks shopping done in about 10 mins. Great selection of food, and a bursting beer fridge. Generally well stocked. Friendly checkout staff.
A.Nice being greeted at the entrance and given a basket 🛒 Good quality meat 🥩 I like the way the aisles are set up and that there is a shortcut by the fruit and vege to the aisles so can get to the check-out if you are in a hurry 🏃♀️

P.Pretty good new world but often very busy and busy check outs and it is on the pricier side. As far as supermarket variables go, the sourdough from the bakery was a bit thick and heavy and bready but not very sourdoughy.

p.As with all New World supermarkets, this one was tidy and tucked away in an inconspicuous shopping mall in town. Well stocked as always and you can always find the odd international item that does not get stocked elsewhere.

X.The prices are a tad higher than in other places, but the product is of considerably better quality(specially the produce area) and the employees are keen on helping customers. I should know; I worked alongside these fellows for a little while.
