l. b.I have just shopped my little heart out. It's always spotless and clean. Love the range. Wish there was more room. It can be difficult maneuvering between racks ( especially if you have more than an armful of products)

S. P.Currently under Alert Level 4, the store is doing better than some I've seen in regards to safety. The click and collect area is signed off, unfortunately due to the size of the entry point, it can be a bit tight to keep to the 2 metre distance, as it is also the exit point. They're doing the best they can and I commend them for that. The staff are helpful and the customers are polite and know the drill.

The store is well laid out and bright and welcoming.We have found the range of food exceptional, especially in the specialty vegetarian and vegan products. The management team’s handling of issues prevalent through the Covid 19 crisis has been spot on with care evident throughout and kind firmness where necessary to protect fellow shoppers and staff. The store is sparkly clean and every effort is made to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. Our favourite New World.

J. P.It's small compared to its other stores but it works with the space provided and I think is a good location, close to the carpark too. Variety maybe limited due to it being small. Would give it four stars but I get fed up with the self check out primarily locking up because of bag issues, I mean it works with other supermarkets!
J. B.I can say a lot of great things about this supermarket, like its handy location, the great ready made food they normally have on the deli, how tidy and clean everything is, and somehow while it's small you can find everything.
Now what I really want to highlight during these difficult times when people take social distancing as a reason to completely disconnect, I found their staff extremely friendly, helpful and going the extra mile to help me and others find what we were after, processing the payments (on a glitch scanner) and ensuring everything was packed correctly even helping to take my bags into the car 😊. So we may be distancing physically, but this team was totally connected with their customers, a big thank you for that.

L. S.Service needs working out - not enough checkout staff to have 2 people midday on a weekend, one of whom is making coffees on order and also helping self-checkout people. Her error in running our items accurately was not surprising: management needs to support the checkout service better. The offerings in the store itself are fine, urban midsized grocery store.

This was the second time that Amanda has made a cake for me and she is a true artist in cake making. Please thank all the staff in the delicatessen for making our party so special.

B. C.Considering the medium footprint this New World does a great job of providing a really wide range of product in a really handy location with free parking. It even boasts a manned deli which a lot of mid-sized supermakets have done away with. I've always had great customer service and good quality fresh food. A welcome addition to Shore City Mall.
D. H.Very handy location if your in takapuna doing some shopping. Really nice new store with a good range. Lots of hot food available at the deli if you need something for lunch. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

H. K.The staff are super and lovely but NW doesn't seem to quite know what it's doing there other than it's key modus operandi of duopolistic over charging and limited uninformed choice. Am I grocery store or a 1960's delicatessen attempt. If it was a cinema the seats would be empty.
C. H.Hmmm.. for an upmarket area you would expect a higher quality and better range of products. Kind of like visiting a four square in Ngatea except the four square in Ngatea is better.
M.Pretty nice clean store and layout. Only gripe is a few things seemed nore expensive than at Pakandsave but I guess you have to factor in Takapuna is generally more upmarket and pricey than other parts of North Shore.

I asked to see a butcher regarding an eye fillet question. He was most helpful and even went and trimmed it for me.
At the self checkout a young man was again very helpful and got me a bag as had left mine in the car!
Well done New World very nice to have such thoughtful staff.

A.Nice looking cake for birthdays, BUT its all icing and very thin sponge. Kids just taste it and wouldn't eat it. Some of them just eat the sponge part. They are health concious.. too much icing not good for health. Not worth the money.
C. D.A new New World in Takapuna Mall. It was OK, but disappointing in the sense that I expected mire variety and more sophisticated stock. Basically a place to grab lunch (ordinary choice) at work or a few things on the way home. It's in the foodcourt, so my expectations were probably out of whack. Overall, for choice and price, you're better off going elsewhere unless you really don't have time
C. A.Prices on certain items I need are dearer than other New World's and not by a small amount, I'm talking 30 cents which when you arre buying in bulk adds up. I would rather go to a New World that does not over charge customers on what is an essential item for them.
J. K.Staff here are super helpful and friendly. They made me a special vegetarian roll and helped me redeem my flybuys for a Gift Card. The store is very nice and great location for those working in Takapuna.
