S.The shelves were very well stocked and the staff are friendly an helpful, there was even someone to pack the groceries into another trolley which I have not had in such a long time since Covid started it was nice. Thank you New World Mount Roskill for the hassle free shop. Even at 7pm the deli section was fully stocked
M.An Okay store but they need to realise and show empathy for a family with 3 autistic children and learn to accommodate our needs like everyone else, what with my wife and I being ex-supermarket workers. Need to work harder on the policy that the customer is always right! They do it for other customers, why not a high needs family!
A.Parking can be dangerous if you dont follow the arrows so be careful...
Buying top up shopping is a good thing as I was passing through to stop here...
Good staff and products are plentiful..some prices are high but hey depends on what your buying...

A.This supermarket has some interesting foods, not all mainstream brands.
I like that there is an area at the checkout for packing your own bags too.
But why don't you have any nespresso compatible decaf coffee pods? Quite frustrating.
J.Always clean, great products and plenty of parking. But what stands out the most is there are actually both staff in the aisles and at the checkout that can help you and the customer service is excellent, friendly and helpful. ALWAYS had a good experience at this store, thankyou to the awesome staff at New World New Lynn.

P.Fresh looking New World supermarket located in Mt Roskill, the size is actually bigger than most of the New World in town.
Sections are well divided, easy to find your food stuff. And the staffs are quite friendly and helpful when asked direction to some certain products.
Price wise really depends on the products you are after, a bit more expensive but within the acceptable range.
T.Wow cant seem to give a review with 1 star but with 5 they will let me give a review, pretty racist store considering ur in the heart of Auckland where various races reside, i live in balmoral & started going to new world victoria park, never had an issue with security or checkout operators, go to new world mt roskill and get looked up and down like what are u doing here? I can pay for my grocceries love dont worry

P.Love shopping here, it's one of my favourite supermarket i like to go too. Sometimes you get the opportunity to speak and express words of encouragement and kindness to people you've never meet before. Apart from that New World has and always been well maintained and very clean. And some items and products are very good for its price.
N.Lovely clean supermarket situated within walking distance to other stores, takeaways, bank etc. I love that it has products that are different to Countdown. It is not a particularly large store but I always manage to find what I want and they have a great selection of products. Staff are helpful and friendly. I visit here often.

S.Good supermarket to shop. Some of the staff don't bag your shopping when you are at the checkout and that's a let down. I bought a bag and didn't have that many items to bag. So that was disappointing. The lady looked like she was at the Olympics the way she was scanning lol. Well good on ya. Next time, do it with bagging the shopping lol if you can. Also this supermarket feels too claustrophobic. Always seems to feel like hundreds of people are inside new world. Maybe they are that popular.

P.Lately visited this place with my friend to get stuffs for a birthday party. Went looking for one product but ended up getting loads of options to choose on. Good quality products but a little costly yet its ok. Good customer service. Parking available. Online shopping like click n collect available. Seasonal offers available. Bus and train services are available to get in here. Self check out available. Yes both cash and card was accepted. Easy accessible trolley available. Place can be located easily with the help of maps. I bought a flower pot toooo, yaaayyy.
S.Always good service. I would've given a 5 star rating if the hand sanitizer dispenser hadn't been empty. The one near the exit. This has happened for 2 visits. We are in the midst of Delta variant lockdown.

G.A very well laid out and well stocked New World branch but you'd expect that as its just round the corner from the foodstuffs head office in Roma road. Plenty of parking space available and staff busy maintaining shelves. The checkout staff are very helpful and friendly
L.Great seafood bar - always stocked with fresh fish, even whole fish. Butchery hasn't got as much selection as another New World but great for the basics. Could do with more free range options especially in the Pork section. Overall a nice supermarket experience and staff are helpful.

D.New World Mt Roskill is a typical Auckland Supermarket, done to a high standard with an excellent selection of quality food & household products. Of special mention is the high quality & freshness of their fish. It is a delight to be able to have fish several times a week & know that it is going to be consistently so good.
P.New World staff are awesome. Can't say the same for the unlicensed security that are contracted as security there though.

K.Good opening hours - 7am until 10pm. Which is not bad for the location where it is - not really very central to much, but definitely in an up and coming location (in a commercial park). Could open an hour earlier to be more convenient. Service is what you would expect. There are a lot of pre-prepared meals available during rush hours if you want to pick up something quick and easy from the deli, though the nutritional value is in question (usually not the healthiest options).

S.1 day sale. Awesome specials majority of the staff are very hard working with a smile on their faces all the time. This sale is so full on from 7am to 10pm in the evening. Customers should be nicer and more respectful to the amazing checkout operators at New World Mt Roskill

T.Due to the fact we live in the Waitakere and Portage trust zones, we're not permitted to purchase alcohol from our local supermarkets, so like most we end up driving to outside the zone to purchase our wines and beer when we shop for food and this New World is the closest to us. They do good specials and it makes the trip worth it.
j.My local. Generally very good and helpful too. The downside is the recent changes to the aisle contents. Now I'm lost and having to relearn. Post-it not sure saying where products have been moved to would be really really helpful.

Nearly always shop here,as have found staff,including supervisors go out of their way to help and keep things moving especially when busy, unlike Countdown where three supervisors, leaned against the wall with their clipboards chatting while the checkout staff and customers struggled.Vowed never to go to local Countdown again.

S.I love shopping New World Mt Roskill, firstly it's NZ owned secondly they have great in-store deals. It's hard to walk past the deli area. I can find everything quickly, go check it out you won't be disappointed
J.It's a good supermarket. New World in the past has been a lot more expensive than other supermarkets like Countdown but their meat is fresh and so much cheaper.

S.New World has good offers throughout the week and the staff are warm and welcoming irrespective of time of the day. The range of products they have coupled with the prices and the flybuys points that they give I don't really find a reason why i need to go to another supermarket. Pro tip: Apply for a New World Club card and don't forget to take it every time you shop there. The price discounts with that card are real and very useful.
L.Im very familiar with new world and knkw where to go to get my stuff. Nothing dramtically changes in the store so it makes it easier for me to do a quick run to the shops

Great ambiance.
Lot of variety.
Quite organised which makes it easy to locate what you are looking for.
Normally a busy place and staff remains equally busy, so difficult to get hold of one.
h.A little pricey for my liking, prefer PAKn'SAVE but not extortionately over priced and conveniently located so does the job, the baggers at the till is a throwback to a couple of decades ago and the wife loves the collectables when they come around
A.You will find same products at cheaper price in pak n save.
S.Expansive variety! Helpful considerate staff! One of the lowest (if not THE lowest) prices in Auckland! Definitely my preferred market for desi grocery!
