Clean and tidy at the time of my visit. Seems well taken care of in Papatoetoe too. Experience is better if compared to Pak n Save as usually is. Of course it is a bit expensive than Pak n Save as everyone knows..

Honestly the best place to do shopping... Workers are very welcoming also helpful... Always have good deals... Honestly recommend that you shop here 😍 today was one of my hardest days shopping as I have a new born and toddler my new born was crying as I was trying to load my shopping on to the counter as a worker and a stranger helped pack it back in the trolley 😍 also when I was walking out with baby in my arms pushing the trolley the lady at the door asked if I needed help as I proceed to say no thank you she still come outside to offer a hand 😍 so thank you new world workers

At 7am (best time to shop) staff are very helpful, and its nice to Acknowledge them on their service, as they have a full day of work ahead of them, and lets face it they will encounter an odd grumpy customer, so try and do your shopping at 7 and I guarantee youll come away happy and what a way to start your day off yay.👍

Had a car accident in the car park. New world Management and Security were so helpful to provide what was needed to prove my innocence. I come to new world 3 or 4 times a week to shop for myself, my parents, my grandad. I absolutely think new world is about the people and helping others. I'll always be loyal to new world!!

Security officer grunted and pointed to show me to scan the Covid-19 barcode... didn't know cavemen still existed in 2021? 😳...otherwise the store is awesome 👌items very well presented and immaculate. ...staff at checkout are very helpful and customer service is great..🙌

It's a lovely new, fresh decor & lovely helpful staff & security. It's a friendly community with loads of diversity. Ethnic groups aplenty xx I really like the different array of specials & products.. a store like no other. I travel a lil further, just to get to this store. It's really lovely. Since it's spruce up it is a much more pleasant place to shop. It is clean and well lit. Usually the checkouts and self service checkouts don't require one to stand in line too long. It has a wide basic range of products so most of my groceries come from there. I go to a further away supermarket with a deeper range monthly.

Since new store opened is now my local. Staff are friendly and helpful when need assistance and take responsibility for any issues which is refreshing. Produce is fresh . Salmon fillets, fresh fish and steak always a good selection. Ladies on service counter are awesome and have great attitudes.

The refurbishment of the store isn't what I expected. It has a warehouse feel about it with the high ceiling. Checkout staff remain friendly and efficient, the bakery and deli department are great Frustratingly, the items on special remain out of stock, bait advertising!

I recently visited the newly renovated location and was confused as I was looking for a specific product. Thankfully a staff member named Jese G helped me find the exact product I was looking for and it came with other options offered by New World I wasn't aware of. They aren't big on conversations like the old new world... they can be really helpful if you ask... product prices have risen... it's supposed to be cheaper than the dairies but sometimes it isn't and this was before covid-19. It's been up and down since the pandemic arrived.

It's my local, it's great, the ladies and chaps there are so helpful and friendly. I won't go anywhere else unless I need coke zero 30 packs as they don't carry those, probably due to space but there meat range is great for the singles and doubles and families.

Great little NewWorld tucked away in Papatoetoe, however my experience today at around 1pm on 11th March was so good. As I approached the self check out the attendant there just stared at me rather than reciprocate my greeting, as I needed my wine cleared, I turned around to see her staring rather than clearing my wine, I laughed and I'll take you're staring as a compliment and laughed. As I went to leave I said thank you and again she just looked and didn't reply, so I stopped locked at her and said THANK YOU? and left. To me, this totally unacceptable and rotten manners, it's not who we as Kiwi's are. My solution is to retrain her, teach her some basic manners or both.

I had high hopes for the new store but I am disappointed to see that so little has changed. Limited choice of products: brands, sizes, flavours. Some good buys in the meat dept if you are quick. Wine & beer selection definitely needs to improve. A nice new building but nothing much inside.

Great that NW Papatoetoe has had a revamp since it's previous look. More open space better utilised with more parking, lights and visibility. Making it feel much safer to shop at then previously when there were issues with shoplifters and not enough lighting around here.

Been long time waiting for our new New World to open finally it's here. It's not too big that you get lost so it's easy enough to find stuff & find your way around. Some prices are up at the moment but there's still plenty of bargins to be found, good selection of stuff to choose from & the layout is good. Nice inside there to because of it being new but also nice touch with the massive windows on two sides of the building good to see out etc. Parkings good & close to the shop, you can pop in and out quick or take your time. Good range of variety from meats - drinks - baked stuff - ice creams

I have always had good comments about this new world store, but last week I was quite disappointed when there was nobody in the baking section who could tell me the ingredients in their coffee cake. I wanted to know whether It had egg in it and the label said "see department for ingredients". They checked with 2-3people in there and nobody knew... Otherwise New World Papatoetoe is my go-to shop mostly because of how close it's my house and their price promotions and specials
