G.A really good range and this supermarket has an aisle of goods on sale that others don't seem to have. The outside of the building/carpark area looks a bit dated, but inside the supermarket is much more modern, with wide aisles and a great layout. Really helpful staff. Management also very community minded.
R.Prices are ok..sometimes great specials..wouldn't recommend buying bakery products from them,cakes had fungus in them and the sales person just chucked them away as if it was nothing!!!

K.I have rated this 3 star simply because the time has come for an upgrade of the building. It's such an outdated and old new world compared to all the other nice new worlds in Auckland. The store itself is fine and staff are okay as well. Just majorly needs an upgrade.
S.New World Southmall has had some excellent specials the last few months. If you're a savvy shopper in the area and know your prices you'll be pleasantly surprised at how competitive they are. eg., fruit & vegetables offer variety, are priced cheaper than Pak'nSave/Countdown and good quality comparable to the latter.

L.Bit over crowded yesterday, and people not following the rules and a lot of people not even scanning. I was waiting in line at the atm and omg the amount of people that don't bother scanning!! Unbelievable.

J.Great place to shop. Customer service was on point. Asked for assistance, and the staff did not hesitate. Cashier even packed my shopping into the bags with a friendly manner. Despite Covid, staff were still happy til closing. Awesome New World Southall staff...

T.Southmall New World is always packed with stock! I have never been there and they didn't have what I wanted. It's a bit hard to find a park sometimes but it does have a taxi stand and a loading bay. Make sure to use your New World card and earn points😁😁😁
V.Very good. Best branch in South Auckland.
P.Good and reliable at any time. The Jewel in Southmall's Crown. Fresh foods - fruit veg, meat, bakery, deli - are all right here, changing with the seasons.
E.It anit cheaper then pack n save, there some good deals but not that great.

L.For level 3 lockdown , today... you'd think it was level 1...only about half the people in New World had masks on, no distancing at all...no good!!! Bit too relaxed for me, better to be safe then sorry whanau
M.It is a wonderful store with a great stock range and is my go-to Supermarket of choice. All of the staff, from the owner down are very friendly and kind. The staff enjoy working their and it really shows. I recommend this store

L.This is local new supermarket, which provides fresh vegetables meat, as well as in store bakery. People may be surprised on certain brands and products, weren't available in other store. It may be related to large pacific communities surrounding in this areas. These products and brands are local favourite. People may not source a few hundred dollars bottle of wine here, maybe get surprise by local shops.

R.A typical new world supermarket reasonable amount of parking located in a busy area around south mall. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonable stock selections available. Pricing is also reasonable . Service is good .
E.Very good supermarket. I even saw the owner delivering espresso coffees to the staff which warmed my heart as I walked the aisles :)

D.The beating heart of southmall because its where 90% of people go. Probably a bit on the small side by modern supermarket standards but it itbhas everything you need for your general shop. Can get quite busy so time your shop to avoid peak times.

A.With the new owners, quite a few long time stocked items have become deleted lines, i.e. no longer stocked... I've been shopping here for some time now & know a few of the staff to talk too & they have said that I am not the only person to have noticed this happening either. Most staff are very friendly & helpful though.

R.This supermarket changed hands about 3 mths ago. It was great up till then. The freshness of produce (fruit & veg) dropped below belief and I wrote a complaint about it. The new owner rang me and apologised stating this was his first supermarket. It took up until last week for owner to sort out the problem to a satisfactory degree. The girls at the tills are a wonderful bunch, always smiling, and so very helpful. The unpackers tend to get in the way a lot especially on a busy day or early evening and appear to dislike having to move. However on the whole, the place is well stocked with many different varieties to choose from. Bakery always fresh, meat at competitive prices, New World Specials Card an added bonus for those like me who have to budget carefully.
K.It's a good mall. Lots of inexpensive shops.
M.Easy to get around - parking can be a hassle sometimes but has the stuff you need if you want a quick shop

K.I love to shop at New World because they tend to have a great brand selection and don't just carry standard items. On this shopping trip I wanted a drink bottle for the very cool new cold water infused teas they have in. Sadly they didn't have a great selection of kitchen items nor did they companion sell by having drink bottles and travel mugs near the teas and coffees. Come on Southmall. But good on you for stocking those new teas, they are a great sugar free, almost no calorie alternative

A.I started shopping at New World Southmall as my mother does her weekly shopping there an she also gets her lotto's at the same time which is conveniant for her, they have good weekly specials an I find the staff there friendly well some of them not all....if your after specials I would go there.

R.Everything and any thing you need or want they will have it, from ice cream to cakes to meet and fresh fruit and veges you want it they have it all cold drinks to a beer (🙅 you will need I.D for this tho if you look under 25) that goes for smokes aswell 😂, even soup for the cold days and for the Maori out there or should I say the lazy ones 😂 seafood!! Yum yum, and the good old health meds to keep you fit and healthy.
