S.Love ooooby! The produce is fresh, local and organic. They also have a wide range of other food on their website so you can avoid the supermarket! They are also amazing at communicating. Would highly recommend them.
K.We LOVE Ooooby. We love the whole idea of a sort of gigantic neighbourhood swap of what's in season and abundant locally. And we love the idea of the bulk of our food shopping coming from small, local growers who are thoughtful about the impact of chemicals on our health and on the soil and ecosystem. We LOVE having a box arrive on the doorstep on Wednesday morning with fresh fruit and veges - mostly organic - eggs and bread and any other goodies we've chosen from the website that week. We've noticed we eat a lot more fruit and veg now as we plan our meals around the Ooooby box we know is coming, and we waste a lot less too - again, because we know what is coming and when. We've also tried a few things we've never eaten before - stuff that's in season but maybe you wouldn't pick it up in the supermarket. But when it turns up in the Ooooby box, along with an interesting recipe, we give it a go. Who'd have thought celeriac and mushrooms in cream would be utterly delicious? (It is!) The crew at Ooooby are just so amazing to deal with. We had an issue early on with the delivery arrangements and they bent over backward to make sure it all worked for us. In terms of cost, we think some of the items are possibly a little more than we'd pay in the supermarket, but they're almost all organic, so that's a different comparison. And overall we're pretty sure it balances out, partly because choosing things for the box each week makes us more conscious about planning better, so we waste a lot less.
L.This is a thanks to Ooooby for the wonderful boxes that have been sent to my parents in a retirement complex. I know that they have found the fruit and vege, really fresh and flavorsome, and Mum just loves the yoghurts. The new option to tweak some of the boxed items is especially useful. They have supermarket shopped for all their lives, but now discovered how great it is to taste superior quality produce.
S.Friendly, easy, valuable service. I love to receive my Ooooby box every Wednesday. It really takes to effort out of trying to make the best decisions when it comes to fresh, seasonal, local, healthy produce. The research into the suppliers and the sourcing of good food is done by the time I open my box each week. There are plenty of options available for extras that you would usually have to cart home from the supermarket.
No unnecessary packaging and you're guaranteed to cook and eat something you wouldn't usually pick up and buy yourself. A benefit I really enjoy.
D.Fantastic local and organic sustainable fruit and veg box options. Lots of variety and convenient delivery service. Heaps of health food, gluten free, paleo and other speciality products to choose from. Very high quality and tastes great.
G.We love our Ooooby boxes: the fruit and veggies are super tasty and delicious and because they are so fresh, they last longer. Not to talk about the convenience of having delivered at home at a very reasonable price local, organic vegetables AND other products you would only find at a farmers market. Unbeatable!
N.Ooooby boxes are the best, thing, EVER!!! I love coming home to find my box full of goodies waiting for me! There are always a couple of interesting fruit & veggies in there that I wouldn't normally choose so it's great to try new things! It's also awesome to eat seasonally & help to support our local growers! Love your work ooooby!
