Excellent service, a good range of vegan foods, and competitively priced. Their click & collect service is easy to use, and is run by a good team of staff who are friendly at pick-up and go out of their way to resolve issues (that said, I've only had a problem once). The Pak'n'Save fuel station on site is handy to use due to its close proximity. It's very easy to pick up the weekly shopping then top up the gas tank in one go. We've been going to Westgate Pak'n'Save for a good few years now and will continue to shop here. Our compliments to the team.

Best place to shop I reckon meat is worth it some of the staff needs training though in deli not wrapping Kai properly. Otherwise overall experience during covid prefer everything I need in one place.

Wow. Very very busy. But had alot of stock and managed to navigate my way around. Thankfully I only needed a couple of things so I was able to go through the 12 or less checkout. The alternative was at least an hour wait in line at any other checkout.

It’s our go to Pak’nSave store. It’s very accessible from our home and it’s not too crowded. They have variety of products to choose from which is not present from other stores. I find some of the items to be cheaper compared to other stores. The shelves are well-organized an the entire store find it super clean.

Probably my most favourite store. Great they have a lift especially for those who have walking disabilities. Store is always immaculate, lovely helpful staff. Only downfall is the carpark is too small & not enough disabled parking spots otherwise worth coming here.

A typical supermarket layout but PnS Westgate does generally have good pricing that makes an out of area trip worthwhile. My only real dissatisfaction with the store is the fruit & veg section has no clear walkway through if you need to go down to fish & meat. The aisles are narrow & trollies can block them while shoppers take time to choose items so can be frustrating if you need to move through. Car parking is very good especially on a wet day

Big store, pretty sizeable carpark, offers variety to the area and has cheap deals. Ideal if you're looking to save on your groceries, also has a paknsave fuel in a pretty good spot so not to interfere much with the carparking

An amazing supermarket with realistic prices much cheaper than Countdown where i normally shop and after todays shop at Pack n Save i won't shopping at Countdown again. Pack n Saves fresh produce and meat department far surpasses Countdown plus Pack n Save has a larger vast of products that Countdown don't stock. I'm so glad that i visited Pak n Save today so sorry Countdown you've lost a long time customer

They say that Lincoln Road Pak n Save is the biggest in the country, but if that is so the Westgate site is not much smaller. Great underground parking for those lockdown queue blues. The management are always open to a phone call with feedback ( >.< not looking at you, you other Pak n Saves) But it is the quality and range of goods that really sets Westgate apart. They have the cheapest vegetable section of any local supermarket, a large and well stocked fish department, likewise for the butchery, and a wide range of goods. You can always rely on Westgate to have those special items that come and go at other locations (For example Pam's Peking duck which if you have not tried it, is delicious). Highly recommended.

Great special listing in facebook, I always keen an eye on the specials. One of the best stocks in Auckland took. Birthday sale and 99c sale definitely worth checking out I normally avoid shopping after dinner on Sunday as there is hardly any checkout open and despite the small amount of customer it ends up being a long wait

Parking entry was confusing and only underground parking that I saw. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you DO NOT stay in your vehicle to long with your children as I was waiting for the wife and literally got fumigated out as the ventilation seems VERY INADEQUATE to expel car fumes and felt very sick with a headache. Good supply of Disabled Parking Bays though.

I shop here regularly, the staff are great and its well organised and of course it is cheaper. The main problem is range, they have a fraction of what other super markets offer including other Pak 'n' Saves. I find we have to go to countdown to get bits that Pak'n'Save doesn't have (and these are not supermarket exclusive products). Update: nothing much has changed but the under cover parking is great 👌

Quiet. Orderly, and a good experience. The guards seem less commando, more in command without being OTT verbally and physically imposing and they have what looks like a PR person circling the lines making gentle conversation, smiling, eye contact, all the right motions and potions to keep a crowd supported, happy and anxiety free during these times. Well done Pak n Save Westgate! Public relations are much improved. Oh, and the music the security plays us pretty ok, too.

It's been awhile since I've visited here. There's plenty of under cover parking, a lift is available, a ramp if you wish to meander or push your trolley, or the stairs, my grandson loves the stairs. It's busy, when is it not, but its like organised chaos. I actually enjoy grocery shopping, especially looking for my basics and when they're on specials price.

One of the best Pak N Save supermarkets in the country. Well laid out aisles and fresh produce is easily accessible. Also has amongst the lowest fuel ⛽ prices in Auckland city. Usually beat the special promo prices of Z fuel from across the street.

Clean tidy shop and friendly staff. Picked the wrong day to shop Christmas eve and parking was at a premium. Just feel when it is busy it is quite dangerous on the parking area with vehicles and pedestrians in the same space. I didnt notice any pedestrian walkways as a safety precaution.

Im going in for surgery and will be in hospital for a few weeks so I ordered bulk cat food for while my cats are in the cattery. At the moment theres a shortage of cat food and because my cats are fussy it lead me to doing a click and collect from Pak'nSave. It turned out that most of the cat food I wanted wasn't in stock but Brett H knowing that cats were fussy called me to talk about other options. I dont think I had notes saying I was going away for an operation as to why I was bulk buying but every other place that does online shopping would just not provide the missing items... Brett H actually took time to call me to talk about what I was looking for in the cat food I was buying for my super fussy cats and did an amazing job in picking from the information I gave him! As I am unwell at the moment and had to get someone to specially pick the food up, had he not taken that initiative and not cared, I wouldnt have been able to get my cats food in time!! I was initially put off by the extra $5 picking fee (because Ive never had a click and collect fee before) and the $1 bag fee for 2 paper bags, Brett H's actions more than justified that money and really needs to be praised for his extra efforts that no other click n collect shopping company has ever done for me in the past!!

Nice place to buy grocery. They have a wonderful selection of fresh produce. Usually cheaper than most supermarkets but a few products are actually cheaper at the other grocery stores. You have to really use your calculator if you want to make sure you save.

The inside and the carpark is never crowded so it's nice to shop around without someone getting all up in your face at the bread section. Prices are affordable and they're always well stocked with the items on special. Other extra things: clean customer bathrooms if you ever needed it, petrol station nearby, they do AT hop card top ups and convenient location. Would recommend 😁👍👌

I always shop at PnS Lincoln Rd, but because of the rain I went to Westgate PnS for their handy underground parking. I was excited to find great fruit prices- haven't bought so much of fruit in a long time! They have a beautiful selection of good quality meat and fish on display. Friendly staff too. It's definitely worth while driving over from Henderson.

Nice and relatively new (at time of this review), pretty much the same as any other PAK’nSAVE as far as products go. Layout flows well, easy to get around isles and other food storage placements. Decent amount of parking, spaces are large so lots of room to move in and out of your vehicle. Majority parking is located underneath the building with another smaller car park outside, situated around a conveniently placed self-service fuel station.

My partner and I shopped here for the first time today, and we were very happy, both with the prices and the staff. The person we had on check out packed our shopping with care and great organisation. We will definitely be shopping there again. Great specials too.

Be prepared to put your walking shoes on - it can take a while to get along all those long aisles. Having said that, if you're physically able, this is a good place to get your groceries: $1 for a tin of fancy feast 🐱 cat-food as opposed to $1.39 at Countdown, 🍌 bananas $2 kg instead of $3 per kg. Other items are closer in comparative cost but I'd say I saved at least 10% on my usual weekly shopping. Good for people with large families as they have lots of those annoying-to-single-shoppers "2 for $5" or "3 for $10" kind of specials. On the whole it's worth the walk, I'd say! 😃

I've had nothing but great customer service at this particular pak n save and especially when I asked if they could get something ordered in. The manager Scott kept me updated to the day on when stock would arrive and let me know what and when it was available! Definitely my go-to supermarket ☺

Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

It is our first-time in New Zealand as we are visiting our son who is doing a PhD here. New Zealand is far more expensive than the UK for almost everything. However PAK'nSAVE has a good variety of choice. We are vegans and the choice was extremely good. There is a number of vegan meat alternatives and even some of the crisps and sauces have no meat or meat derivatives.

Always do my food shopping here because I can keep my weekly shop to well under $100.00 for a single person which is excellent. I have a Countdown 2 mins up the road but I drive 10mins to the Pak N Save because they have a way better selection and higher quality of food. The fish (just had some fresh Salmon for dinner) is always just so fresh and is properly bagged and sealed. Can't get over the low price on meat here or the quality. Excellent parking here as well. A supermarket I always enjoy shopping at.

Good service at customer service counter. Surprised at some of the pricing especially since my perception is that pak@save stores used to be discount shopping. Doesn't seem that way now. Especially in vegetables section. More expensive than New World supermarket on certain items.

Brought a food dinner bag for first time fish pie was abit dissapointed as it had missing peas, emailed pak n save about it to let them no and they gave me a free dinner bag, got the butter chicken and no missing contents, thanks David for responding so fast great customer service. Probably my favourite Pak'nSave. The fish area doesn't smell bad, and their bakery stuff is always nice. Self-service checkout is almost always free, and they have a gateway between the veg and the other sections you can can whip in and out quickly if you just needed to grab something. All parking is undercover (under the building). Probably wouldn't use the bathroom again unless I really really had to (go to the mall, or the maccas across the road), but everywhere else is clean. Veg lasts a good while.

This is the nicest PAK'nSAVE I've ever been too. Wide aisles. There's a cut-through into the main grocery section if I want to grab a couple of items only so I don't have to walk around the whole store. Also the chilled section is fully contained so it's not cold walking through those aisles

Living in Hobsonville it makes sense taking the drive to Westgate Pak'n'save as it is so much cheaper compared to the Hobsonville supermarkets. Always a parking spot on the covered parking, fresh sushi being made just after the fruit/vege section. The overall savings compared to Countdown for the same 2 week basket are easily $50+, which makes the drive worthwhile.

Parking was easy to get into this pacnsave has its own petrol station its always convenient to have. A section of the car park is a share zone for pedestrians and vehicles there are big size lifts . It does seem to be a bit of walking until you get to do your shopping. Big pacnsave store lots of fruit and vegetables as you go in. I found what i was looking for and even extras.

Big and new. Loads of parking under and around so the few times we been there is always space. The big windows on the front let in a lot of natural light to it feels big and open. Not to mantion its all pretty new so loons nice. Big range too with a lot of variaty.

First time we have shopped here as our Alderman Drive store I believe is closing soon to be rebuilt, firstly u can see how u could spend heaps with so much to choose from we didn't spend anymore than usual, I brought these lamb mini roasts never seen them before and the nice Maori butcher was so helpful and Polite I asked umm are these boned sir yes they certainly are did them myself, cooked them last night in the pizza oven for 3hrs absolutely outstanding, and the young lady on the till with the braided hair, Middle Eastern or African what an absolute delight and the trolley stack, so perfect, I'm sure we will be back

Went there, did a shop and realised this is the only Pak n save I've been to without a liquor license. The deals and the food in there are good but the staff in the store seemed to ignore you and walk off when you walk over to ask for something so I ended up asking a young man on his smoko who was genuinely helpful. At the cashier I went to put my money up on the food roller which I thought stopped spinning but it got rolled on there and one of the coins got stuck and had to be pulled out. Took her 5 seconds and she gave me this negative lecture about putting my money on there when I'm supposed to be a customer which was not cool. This is by far the worst Pak n save I've been to but I'm giving it a mediocre rating as it has its chance to improve on its minor few things

I love the fact that there are 3 PNS stores all close by but they all offer slightly different goods. Compared to the one on Lincoln Rd, this store has reasonably fresh produce. Visually it is better too since it is a newer store. Price wise, it is not as cheap now compared to when it first opened. The bakery is slightly under par compared to Lincoln Rd too. But it's a decent PNS.
