Pretty good, very fresh produce which is hard to fault. Staff are friendly and spends over $50 qualify for a free coffee made in store(very well might I add). Nice perk when grocery bills are so pricey at present. I like supporting local and its a MUCH nicer experience than going to your usual supermarket.

Good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, all high quality. They have number of other pantry items available. A good spice selection, honey, drinks, wine and beer, some snacks, a good meat section (there is a butcher on site), some international food items. You can also order a cup of coffee as well. More than just your local green grocer or butcher. Well worth a visit if you have never been.

Local fruit, vege and meat store. Parking is usually good, food fresh and staff are super friendly. If you get there early enough you can get a free coffee after spending $40. The coffee is good.

Best local fresh veg shop and fantastic butcher as well. Small area of international food stuffs as well. Also includes a small booze section with fancy beers.

It has been a while since I have been here, and it is much improved, with not only the original fruit and vegetable shop, but a butcher, delicatessen, and bottle shop all located on the say premises

It's a good place to get all your varied veggies for sure.

Love our local 'Quick-E-Mart' (as we call it). Great range of fresh produce, dried foods (herbs/spices etc), delicatessen and butchery which we utilize most weekends for low and slow bbq. The staff and owners are great too.

Fantastic selection of meat, fruit, veggies and lots more. Bonus it's nice and handy after work when you can't face the supermarket!

Simply Fresh has grown to be my local shop. Not only they have great produce, meat, dairy and much more, but they provide a personal touch to the shopping experience. I love going to Simply Fresh and get cooking tips from James. This personal experience makes the biggest difference when shopping. When we go up in Alert Levels, I feel safe knowing that at Simply Fresh they will make sure we can all shop with confidence, keeping social distancing, making sure there is hand sanitizer available, and still providing a great range of goods. Long life to my local, hard-working owner operated shop!

I like that they list the ingredients on their marinades and sausages in case of allegies. Fruit and Vegetables are fresh. Lots of parking. Convenient location.

Meats are great quality and fresh.. So are veggies.and fresh interesting buns love this store. . And had a very helpful manager packing my car with all my heavy boxes.. One missing star as they didn't have Pomegranates or boerewors sausages I needed

Good range of fruit and veges and good quality. Maybe while in level 3 and 4 there should be some arrows on the floors to stop people getting too close. People are a bit blasé this time.

Not a big store but it's has all variety you need at home from meat, frozen cook food to grocery. Fresh veggies and healthy options of cereals dry chips etc.

I go here to get Bella Vacca milk in glass bottles (.& recyle my empty ones). Really easy replacment system no hassle, friendly service

These guys do a great job, fresh vegetables and their meat quality out strips the not so super supermarkets, would have got 5 stars but for the virus wankery

Always very friendly staff. Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Incorporating a 'Mad Butcher' means it's very easy to get all your fresh food. They also stock some great quality Italian tinned tomatoes, pasta and pasta sauces along with excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Great place to keep it local. They now stock almost everything you need so less trips to the supermarket...less chance of picking up covid!

I’m a very regular customer here and have spend thousands of dollars. I like the free small coffee after a $40 spend but it’s only valid for one week and if you want a large coffee you pay an additional 50cents. Only one free small coffee even if you spend hundreds of dollars. They have a loyalty card system where you receive a stamp for $25 spent. After 20 stamps, $500 spent, you get a $15 discount. This equates to a 3% discount. Some staff are kind and if I spend $124 they will give me five stamps even though I’m $1 under and should only get four stamps while other staff aren’t so kind. Even though loyalty programs are in place here I don’t feel like a special customer. The produce is more good than not although I’ve had some very substandard and rotten produce. I predominantly shop here because it’s so close to home. I’m seriously considering taking my business elsewhere for friendly and appreciated patrong

Simply fresh, as its name suggests. It is my local produce store and is filled with friendly staff and the store has a great newsletter that goes out every week with the specials and the seasonal veg recipes! Also the coffee there is great, if you spend over $40 you can get a free one :)

Really like the loyalty program especially the coffee offer. Butchery is great but the produce can be poor quality at times.especially the fruit. If it wernt for the free coffee with $40 purchase then I’d stick to countdown for fruit and veg

Closest thing Auckland has to Trader Joe's! Fantastic sorta supermarket - was originally a fruit & vege shop and then absorbed the butcher next door too. Great range of high quality produce & meat but also wonderful for dry goods, especially international ingredients. Loads of interesting pasta options and a whole Mexican area. Awesome for bulk spices too.

Quality produce and top notch meats. Great selection of supplementary food, spices, sauces, etc. from a range of culinary styles plus a free coffee when you spend $40 or more. So so good.

Great, fresh fruit & vege. Simply fresh veges as the name would suggest that are ripe, plump and colourful. Decent prices too. Better than a supermarket. It has been my local store for upwards of ten years until very recently. I now make special trips for it. The combination of the Mad Butcher and Simply Fresh is a great idea. So to eat well you only need to shop here.

This is a great store. It’s very handy having the vege store as well as the butcher together, and they have a basic selection of wine and beer. Plus, you can get a free coffee!

Often an extremely busy outlet as this business is both a fruit and vegetable store as well as being combined with the local Mad butcher store. This makes shopping very easy but sometimes prices are similar as the local Countdown in Northcote. You cam also purchase a coffee here which is ok.
