A.Good service, fried mussel and squid was tasty. Bit oily though. Yet to try their raw fish.
M.Hmm loads of parking always a friendly face. My issue is some of the items they sell. Otherwise a great place. Try the deep fried flounder and the 2 person seafood pack. Fried bread is always on point and their watercress is delish if you're looking for some for your boilup. That's if they have any left lol goodluck
J.Tobys is my local and it never fails to deliver the most delicious fresh fish and chips. I have been going here for ages and last night, as always yummy and fresh. Also the staff are super friendly. Excellent value for money too.

There takeaways are LOVELY,especially there battered Fish,always Devine and never any problems there.
I also love there battered oysters and mussels.Tino Reka!!
Chips are tasty,nice n crispy on the outside and soft and smooth on the inside.
Raw fish is nice and kinas good when there in the right season.
Also,the home to the 2nd GREATEST fried bread in the entire world,behind my Te Rarawa nana of course.cannot fault this place,lots of free parking..recommended to all!!
P.Tobys Seafood Glen Eden is just the same as every other TS around Akld.. great Customer Service, clean premises, food is devine, cheap quality food, living in the city u dnt find freshly made food like this and the price of city FnChips is ridiculous.. thanks Tobys i will b bk very soon

B.Ordered 2XSnapper ($6 EA) , $2 Chips and $1 X takakau (Maori bread - square thick bread slice soft crust mild sweet and soft inner texture and may be fried in bit of oil as it had a bit brown caramel color). Their Snapper is quite thick, flaky, weighs quite a bit per piece and tasted fresh ( don't know if I was lucky) but will definitely try them again to confirm the consistency. I loved the Takakau by itself will go well with coffee and milk tea by itself. Thanks for the wonderful meal. Will surely visit this place again.

P.Food was OK bit soggy the fish and chip but the size of fish was perfect. Now can you please make the raw fish the same as the otahuhu tobies please. Im over traveling there all the time for my fix. I gave 4 stars because im just compairing to the South Auckland store. And the young girl who was on the shift the day I went in was rude as hell

I.This is our go-to fish n' chip shop. Toby's simply has the freshest fish in the west. They are also very generous with portion sizes ! Highly recommend!

Also great attitude when I told that last time fish was not really good the girl was very nice and asked us to call next time if we dont like the quality and tell them feedback same day so they can deal with that. She also complimented us a free Maori bread and we left happy

S.This is THE place to get a massive smoked kahawai for a cheap price. Juicy flesh with just the right amount of smoke - so hard to stop eating it. Plus they make mean fry bread - great for dessert with golden syrup!
