It was as you would expect a countdown store to be. Great if you are heading home or picking something up before you visit family or friends. Customer service was great, the cashier was friendly polite and very helpful.

Small enough to get around fast and big enough to have everything you need. Parking is easy and well staffed. Only gave 4 stars as the 4 times I have gone the shelves have not been fully stocked and items had 1-2 items left but during covid lockdown this is common

This Countdown doesn't have all the items you might find in a larger store (for example, its Health Food Section is small), but there's not much you can't purchase here. Its bakery used to have amazing cheese scones, but the last ones I saw were a bit on the well-done side, so I quickly passed them over. Having said that, it's clean, staff are friendly and it's generally a good place to shop.

Very clean and tidy as far as comparing to other Countdowns. Although it is a smaller supermarket to the average one. We were there as a quick shop for top ups and found what we needed and also got something from the Deli where the lady working that counter was very friendly to us and nice and patient towards the customer before us who was indecisive on what to get. Good shop in general.

Nice and small supermarket with pretty much everything you need, although sometimes they don't have certain products i need, still a good place to goand shop quickly. Customer service is awesome too and would recommend the countdown to anyone passing through and need that one thing or few things for breakfast lunch or dinner. Location is on 2 very busy roads hence the reason i have y 4 star only.

Entering carpark increasingly challenging/difficult as both Te Atatu Road and Edmonton Road entrances are off busy roads. Easy parking; easy covered access to shop. Fruit and vegetables section well stocked with fresh produce at about average prices. The good range is further reflected in meat department, grocery section, fridges and freezers. Many sharp prices. Well stocked at every turn (including bread and bakery). Clean and orderly. Almost all checkouts open. Lines of about 4 or 5 waiting - but progressing through at a good pace. I was extremely impressed with the cheerfulness, pleasantness and helpfulness of the cashier/operator given the afternoon's hectic/busy...

I find almost everything I need which is great maybe not all the various brands bigger shops have but that can be a blessing!! but what I really like is the staff and how helpful they all are. A wonderful feeling walking in and everyone saying hello at the very least to massive conversations lol. Lovely local supermarket that the larger ones should learn from. Love my local. Alot of friendly staff, generally theres always stocked shelves,the bakery is good and the deli too. Love the fresh fruit and veges. Countdown must charge too much by way of meat because i do see abit of reduced prices but they seem to get scooped up fast. One of the only downsides ive noticed in the last 3 months is that some of the staff will have conversations with the checkout operators while they are trying to serve the customers and its quite distracting and ive had afew times where they have over charged me or not listened when ive asked for something e.g i dont want a bag and they still give me a bag and charge me, or give me the wrong bin tag or tobacco. But as a whole its an awesome store.

It is near our house. It is not too big supermarket and for me has limited brands or products to offect compared from their other branches. It has a spacious parking though it tends to be full during peak hours.

It's good but they need more specials. The capsicums were all bruised so they should be marked down and the ones in the bags (waste of plastic) perhaps should be on display . I would really like to know where any waste from this store goes. Is there anyway you would consider donating to pataka in the area?

Easy access by door for people with medical problems but only 2 parking spaces. Need more. I went round 4 or 5 times before one became available.

Convenient position with ok parking. Can be a hassle turning right onto Te Atatu Rd. By today's standards the supermarket is quite small and doesn't stock everything like a larger supermarket would. Visit Lincoln Rd countdown for more variety.

You'll generally find all you need here at a higher price than Pak n Save- except for the boxes of Nescafe coffee sachets. Btw- their muffins are dry. I never buy meat nor fish here- way too expensive! It's convenient if you need one or two items in a hurry.
