Good location of the supermarket on the Middle Renwick Road with a large car park. Wheelchair people are welcome too because the shop is wide. Next door you can find easily the pharmacy, post office and Photoprint.

Out of the 3 Countdowns in Blenheim, this is the smallest (it used to be a Supervalue I believe), but has pretty much the same range as the others. Also has the convenience of an adjoining chemist, post shop, hairdresser and cafe. Always seems to be plenty of parking also.

This supermarket is the nearest to where I live so for convenience I shop here for basics. The layout is not always logical or convenient/ conducive to popping in for milk for example as you have to go to the other end of the aisles to get milk etc.

We'll stocked and we'll managed during COVID-19 level 4 lockdown.

Yes it is a supermarket, yes it is what you expect from a large chain store like this. However the building is old, the fittings are worn and the coolers in the fruit and veg department require constant servicing and it looks pretty grubby when they are being cleaned. The staff are always cheerful and happy to help.

Cute little Countdown, nicely layed out and far nicer than the big ones in Redwoodtown and main Blenheim. Access to the necessities the instant you walk in the door and the super friendly staff make this definitely my preferred branch.

One Countdown is a lot like the next, and I generally like the chain. This one has an unusual layout, which I find a little confusing. Guess if I shopped there regularly I'd like it, but as I go rarely, it's not my favorite.

Big surprise, they got well priced Mollydooker wine, I fund there the 2016 Boxer for only 37 NZD. God to know that there are affordable world class wines nearby. Große Überraschung, sie haben günstigen Mollydooker-Wein, ich finde dort den 2016er Boxer für nur 37 NZD. Gut zu wissen, dass es erschwingliche Weltklasse-Weine in der Nähe gibt.
