It's a big supermarket. This one is slightly different in that it has a pharmacy in the middle of the store. Apart from the it's pretty much the same as most other Countdowns. The carpark has a funny layout, but it's only a problem if you don't have a good ground clearance under your car.

Great Countdown at which to shop. Large, spacious and clean. My husband only likes 'David Beckham' deodorant which I was able to purchase here. They seem to have stopped selling it in Te Aroha Countdown.

Good parking. Rarely too many people here. Unfortunately, prizes go constantly up and are higher than at many other Countdowns. Ciabatta buns were $5 when I moved here 6 months ago, they are now $6. Water was $0.90 and is now $1. While some pasta cost at other Countdowns $0.90 or $0.95, it cost $1 in Cambridge.

Countdown website said busy times are after 11.30. I got there at 9.30. Bought $70 or essentials, milk,bread,fruit etc. When I got up to the checkout I had to wait an hour as I was told which checkout I had to go to. A lady in front of me had a large trolley so full of groceries you couldn't get anymore in it. Why wouldn't you keep a separate aisle for those people and let those with a few things get in and out quicker. The more people kept in the shop the more risk to more people. Other than that the shelves were fully stocked. Good on you for trying in this really difficult situation countdown.

It was great to be able to get all the things on my shopping list. I'm sick of going into my local store and not being able to get so many of the items on specials or things I want. Their selection is not good and store is dirty and dowdy. After going local yesterday and seeing the poor selection of Whittaker's choc. I vowed I wasn't going in there again. Cambridge store is light bright and clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. I will be making fortnightly visits to do my shopping there from now on.

Good selections and prices. The 10pm closing time is unique in Cambridge. Checkouts have acceptable waiting times; no big queues. Staff are efficient and can talk beyound the usual how-are-you-today banter. Parking plentiful. In-house pharmacy is a plus, even if it closes a bit earlier.
