I would give five stars because most of the staff are great, I’n fact they’re more than great. However, as usual the few ruin it for the many as there is a short and very balding “manager” there who will go out of his way to be nasty and rude when you’re just doing your shopping and haven’t even spoken to anyone since entering the store. Apart from the short, balding “manager” the New World Cambridge staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

This new world store is small but has good reasons to shop there. Amazing staff friendly , 😊helpful patient Xtra good service for elderly.🥰 Always willing nothing to much to ask. They stock items you often won't get in other stores and always happy to order in for you. You leave feeling a valued customer. Choose your time to shop. Good parking and always a helping hand to lift groceries into yr vehicle. Good old fashioned service.

I love our New World as I can always get what I need. Only issue is it's too small. But the shelves always look great, staff are happy and helpful.

Well stocked. Good service but the entrence to the store through the vegie section. Is very cramped and hard to navigate when trying to get through there. Would be fustrating for someone in a wheelchair chair. Would be nice if they could open that part up a bit somehow

This should be a 10/10 star supermarket. I understand that due to these challenging times, it’s hard to treat others nicely. But New World Cambridge has always succeeded to make their customers feel welcome. The security officers never treat you like prisoners when you line up and would always welcome you with a smile yet with the authority. ALWAYS! The checkout workers are the nicest! It is a small supermarket I get that, but, it’s not hard to be a little nice to others during these challenging times. Well done New World Cambridge, keep it up🙂

Dark dismal small shop. Doesn't stock a full range and is not diabetic friendly. A let down really and a insult to the New World brand

As I now expect- excellent! I went to the delicatessen to order some platters for a function later in the week and left with full confidence that when I collect they will be perfect for the occasion I am planning. All ordered with a lovely and helpful assistant.

Enter at side door no trollies there had to take a basket. At the terminal I pak every thing in the basket but the supervisor unpack it and took the basket saying basket don't leaf the shop and wolked away . I had to pick up every thing and carry it out. Not a word of you kan go and get a trollie or bay a bag. I am 75 years old and have problems with walking.

Great little supermarket with friendly staff. Doesn't always have the range of products but it's my main shop stop as it caters to most of my grocery requirements.

Only called in for a couple of items so can't really comment on too much. Produce area a tad disappointing, potatoes not really in a good condition, wanted a rock melon and there was only one on offer and it was well past expiry, young man tho did point out there were a couple of half melons which upon inspection looked edible. Staff were polite and helpful.

Great service, staff friendly, but unfortunately because of the obsessive bullying culture by senior management, high turn over of staff, so the service gems are always dissappearing.
