I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and freshness here. I did not expect to find any gluten free products but I found some good choices. The staff are friendly and helpful each time I go. The only disappointment is that they are often sold out of local council rubbish or recycling bags, but this may be out of their control or difficult to predict. On the whole a great local resource!

Good place to stop and pick up those last few groceries when traveling, very clean well stocked little shop, helpful friendly staff, also pick up your Lotto Tickets. When looking at pricing compared to shopping closer to the city not a lot of difference, not as much choice in the fruit and veg line, but still very good for a little country store.

I was just served by two very lovely ladies who were very friendly and helpful. These two ladies did an act of kindness for me and my 7 year old who was so happy and it was great to tell him there are very kind people out there so you give back when you can help out, what goes around comes around and it's the little things that make a big impression. I go to Nelson from chch often and have stopped a few times to get bits and pieces and the staff have always been very friendly each time I've been! Thanks team 😊😊

Fantastic shop with friendly staff. Has just about everything including local fundraising which is awesome to see. Their christmas reindeer out the front of the shop were super cool. Hardly ever have to wait in line to be served.
