This is a great Four Square..one of the best I've shopped in. The staff are very helpful and the products on offer are of a very high quality and show care & attention to customer's needs.

A large supermarket where you get almost all your grocery items. This place is well stacked with fruits and vegetables. Its great for vegetarians who want to prepare their own meals as you get most of the items here. The vegetarian salads, i felt, were quite expensive. So I just bought some bread, pineapples, and milk.

Extremely well stocked supermarket for basically any of your regular grocery needs. Franz Joseph is a small community so this store is welcome and needed

This was a live saver as it was pouring down and the places to eat are really expensive so to be able to purchase bread rolls freshly made,ham,tomatoes margarine plastic knives we were able to go back to a lake that had shelter and a place to heat up beans and spaghetti along with our rolls was great.So please never close the very friendly 4 square as it's great for the kiwi familys

Small grocery store but it is the only one in town. Decent prices. Extremely busy and you are bumping into people around 7PM.

Probably the biggest supermarket in this town. Can buy most of the groceries at a very good prize. Easily accessible.

Great place to do your supermarket shopping. Bought bbq chicken here and it was joosy azzz. Located centrally in the town so it was nice and easy to find.

The store seems quite stocked up with provisions enough to keep you from hunger. Price is reasonable. Seems pretty busy most of the time. Varieties are not bad but at this time in autumn, the crowd is less. But being the only convenience store with no competitors, it is doing well

A bit cramped... but that is because they are trying to fit as much in as possible to keep everyone happy... and to be fair, most people don't have trolleys so wide aisles aren't as necessary. Fantastic selection given the location and I'll often see things cheaper than our own local Countdown here down south. Staff have always been lovely and friendly, which must be hard when it's hot and peak tourist season.

The biggest store you'll find in a long distance. Very good selection. Lots of alcohol too. Useful equipment. Check it out! If you are on budget, buy reserve from here because the smaller town shops are probably a little bit more expensive (like 10% I guess)

A tremendous varied and appropriate selection for such a small and remote town. All the basics for locals, travelers and campers alike including a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meats and bakery breads. There is beer and wine along with all the staples and most other items you may need on the road. Thanks for being such a little oasis!

Dropped in for some beer and chips. They had some cheese. Well they had it all. Great little market. My wife also picked up some local mussels that she enjoyed. Of course the milk and cereal for my morning breakfast. Markets are great for reasonable food when you are on the road.

Prices reasonable (although this is pretty much your only choice if you don't want to drive for an hour!) and a reasonable range. Staff friendly and helpful. Some hot food too, great for saving a little bit over the local cafes/restaurants.

Good variety and decent prices of food considering the size of the store. The only supermarket in town. The petrol station also has a few things but there is heaps more here.

The supermarket is small, so chances are you have to change your plans for dinner, but it's the best shop Franz Josef town has. For the small town Franz Josef is, the shop still has a lot to offer. The only complain I have is that you have a lot of trouble getting through the shop if it's busy, because the walkways are very small.

Good for quick groceries. Store is a little disorganized. Some good prices for sale items. Overall can't complain too much as it functions as it should.
