How can I give a market 5 stars? Visit this New World and you'll see! Been in for lunch, breakfast, coffee and even a proper shop on my trips past here. The ready to eat/lunch food is great (lots of choice, fresh yummy and good value) we had a lunch time feast as we drove down the Mackenzie! Staff were so nice, helping us find a iPhone charge cable, making great coffees, pointing out our food options. We left smiling. Now that is a 5 star supermarket, and I haven't even told you about the playground, the view, the good parking, cool style building, or how good the variety of products! (Ok, on our first trip here, we weren't sure it was the supermarket. The building is really classy architecture. Just think how cool it looks in a winter sunset with frost all around! We had to check twice we were at the right place.)

The only full scale supermarket in town loaded with everything you could possibly think of including camping supplies and fresh produce. Of note they have a mini zip line out the back which is loads of fun

Beautiful big and clean. The prices seamed reasonable and we managed to get some reduced to clear deli items. The view would have to be one of the best from a supermarket. Its a four square so shopping local. I would shop here again.

The only supermarket at tikapo lake located at 5 minutes drive. You would get everything for your cooking needs and also for your camping. It's big as per the small village. Enough space for parking is available and there are enough payment counters. Always busy as its a touristy place.

When Four Square goes high end! Brand new and nicely laid out with very good range and supply of everything you may need. Not the most car parking during busy times (do they really need 4 disabled spaces?) but gets by. Good selection of central otago wines and local craft beers too, i would recommend...!!!

The only and probably the biggest supermarket in town. The staff is very friendly and has all you need in one location. Totally loved the service. The location is beautiful and has a children playground next to it too.

Wasn't expecting this supermarket to have a lot in the way of products but was pleasantly surprised. Great food-to-go selection, better than some much bigger supermarkets. Prices are only a little bit more expensive than in city supermarkets too, didn't feel like I was being ripped off despite it being the only supermarket in town.

Not a bad supermarket with a fair selection of meats, vegetables, fruit, breads, canned and packaged foods and drinks. Excellently located for those staying in Lake Tekapo area hotels, holiday parks and other accommodations. Definitely pass by here if you intend to stay in the area for a couple days or more.

The only supermarket in this small town. Very useful for travellers who want to buy groceries. Inside the supermarket there's toilet that visitors/travellers can use by asking the staff. Quite complete range of groceries they have. Ready meals are also available here. Outside the store there are seats. Wheelchair parking lots are available. Located very close to Lake Tekapo.

Absolutely everything any one would expect from a well ran establishment. Toilets available (very clean) lotto and fantastic barista. Perfect produce, wonderfully wrapped chicken, great lamb bones for dogs, basically everything you want from a supermarket. Good selection of “food to go” and a awesome playground right next door and ample parking, ev charging. Best alcohol selection in the galaxy. Super clean set up, heaps of express and (normal) checkouts and the staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. Best view award for a supermarket. Great work Tekapo Four Square your all doing a super job! Ten stars.

Love this local supermarket in Lake Tekapo. Even though it's in a tourist town, prices and range are very good. You can buy fruits, veg, meat and even camping stuff here at good prices. Plenty of parking right outside and has an alcohol section as well. Great place to stock up while travelling.

Great place with pretty much everything you could want. It is smaller than other supermarkets so not a lot of brand variety. Prices for the most part are comparable to the major supermarkets. Convenient parking right outside and only a short walk from the campground. Remember to bring your own bags.

The crispy chicken bento was fabulous for 10 bucks I was astounded, the salad with the egg was perfect, the brownie to the left was busting, the fruits where very fresh and sweet, the rice was cooked properly and was seasoned with rice vinegar, the chicken was also a great it has the very common proccesed taste, topped off with Japanese sauce

We love this four square! This has made holidaying in Tekapo so much easier. There have always been challenges with food choices in Tekapo (except for Japanese wow never miss it). This way we can get all the fresh food we want, without bringing it from home. Meats, salmon, breads, cheeses. And all at really reasonable prices. It has the best views of any supermarket in the world. Not kidding. Stand at the checkout and gaze out the window. Lovely friendly staff brilliant service. 5+ stars....

Staff are generally pleasant and efficient on checkout, but twice I found they struggled with more than one piece of information when requesting a mix of tickets involving cash plus "free tickets" and winnings off earlier tickets purchased. English appears to be a second language for most, so patience is required.

considering the location, it was really well stock with necessity for visitors to stock up for their cooking in the apartment. great wine selection. we forgotten to pick up our purchases and walked out. the staff ran out delivering to us. embarrassing moment for us but a heartwarming feel on a cold morning. thanks!

Although this is only the one supermarket in Tekapo the pricing is not that expensive thankfully. You can get local beer, wine, cheese, salmon and more... If your trip is budget style this place is useful!

It’s the only fully stocked supermarket in quite a large area. When you live around here you must come here. It’s got basically everything you’ll need, from fruit to medicines. It is also close to Lake Tekapo and it has a playground right next to it with really long flying foxes.

A large, modern and well stocked shop in the centre of Tekapo. Like most 4Square shops it carries a wide range of goods at reasonable prices. They also sell coffee and takeaway food. Well worth using if you're staying or passing through.

I was always under the impression that four square supermarkets are really mini ones but this really lives up to a supermarket standard. Well stocked and probably one of the biggest in the district.

Used cash and one staff see I looked gullable like the many other Chinese who patronised here and tried her luck to cheat me too, by giving few dollars less change and did not issue receipt. Guess this is just one of the black sheep among many other honest staff, but nonetheless irks me.
