Variety of choices to choose from this shop.

Awesome store to get Japanese food :D buutttttttt.... the some of the staff at the Westfield Mall Riccarton Christchurch store aren't up to customer service standards I've had in other Japanese supermarkets. (New Zealand, Canada and Japan itself) I didn't want to mention it because it's bearable, but a youngish (25-30) female staff member was almost yelling at a kid today, then raised her voice so everyone in the store could hear, towards the child's mother, it was horrible. I hope the manager (or owner because it may have been the manager) has a talk to the staff because it needs to change, Japan Mart has a lot of potential and it would be a shame if it was ruined by staff members who feel the need to put others down.

Amazing Japanese store, equivalent version/size of kosco and sunson. Products range from food and drink to cosmetic products and homeware. Price on the higher end. Friendly staff, well organised store and isles, ample parking outside with family friendly parking space.

I have been in a lot asian shops around christchurch but this is one of the best if you like all japanese authentic goods. Some product s are really pricey sometimes the triple of the price you would pay in Japan. But it’s a really good sorted japanese food store!

Very convenient shop to buy Japanese food, snacks, home decorating stuff and more. The Staff was friendly and nice. The price is average and products were relatively limited than the one in Auckland. But the essential are the same so no worries to buy things made in Japan there.

Great range and lots of interesting things. Be aware that you can buy some of the sake brands cheaper elsewhere.

We love this shop because shop assistants especially A middle age Japanese lady is super kind and helpful. We have god sample of Japanese nappies and now we just keep coming back to here to buy more nappies. I went hornby branch too but I think Riccarton shop is much better. Thank you so much for your fantastic service!

super large variety of japanese snacks, can literally find everything here! they have a pretty huge reduced rack as well for expired items, a really good deal if you’re not picky on stuff like that. they sell everything from tea to ramen, ice creams, snacks etc! definitely worth a visit if you like japanese food!! prices are quite reasonable as well, definitely good quality!

Fun shop to explore, food, small and large bowls, chop sticks and some other bits and pieces. 😊

I love their storage basket section! You will find a right size pantry baskets in here.

Very good service from the checkout operator Aiden. He engaged my group and I into a interesting conversation while being incredibly nice and polite. He deserves a major pay raise. Definitely recommend this.

Great location and decently sized store. Lots and lots of products including food and drink, homewares, bathroom, beauty and a large variety of Japanese alcohol. Prices vary but are very reasonable. Good selection of items and nice, friendly staff. Will certainly be visiting again soon!

My favorite store in Riccarton mall, Japan Mart helps fuel my obsession with finding new and interesting snacks from around the world. Not to mention, it also sells my favorite iced coffee.

Nice place for some things from Japan , reasonable prices for some items, shop is well set up and I strongly suggest you to visit this shop , lots of innovative items with some of the highest quality compared to all other options available at Christchurch or NZ

A great place to visit if you love japanese food. Carries a huge range of japanese snack foods, candy, frozen foods, cooking supplies and drinks. Limited alcohol is available, it would be great if they carried a few more Japanese beers.
