They only get four stars because I couldn't find the freezers for the cheesecake! Lol otherwise a good store and their baked goods are pretty yummy too

Friendly staff. Very tidy store. I'd even go as far to say upmarket. Not a huge store but enough product to cater your needs. Plenty parking out 2 sides of shop. Has lotto and cafe coffees etc. This is part of Bishopdale mall, where a few local owned businesses are. So go check it out and support the local.

Unlike other New World which mainly count on appearance to seem a place selling good food, like the new one in city centre, this one is genuinely a good place. Food here is better than in other New Worlds and it is more likeable. Do not expect too much from butcher and fishery, but still better than others for sure. Recommend.

I love the Bishopdale New World because the staff are fantastic, the departments are beautifully laid out and extremely well stocked, the product range is impressive and the range of fresh fruit and vegetables, superb delicatessen and bakery, frozen foods, great value wines and beers, and multiple brand options of all other items customers expect from a quality one-stop supermarket. And in these Covid times, we shoppers feel safe and valued because the check out operators know their regular customers. It's lovely for us to be able to have real conversations with them and to catch up with how they and their families are coping.

The order & layout of the store shelves doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever (especially with the condiments isle, where basic condiments like mustard & mayo are at the top and bottom, and pre-packaged meal sauces are in the middle??--see pics). Another bonkers bit is the "split" deli, where the meats/fish is clear over the other side of the store from the luncheon/ham pre-prepared item area. Some pre-prepared stuff is over in the dairy area on the other wall; some cheeses are by the ham & luncheon deli on one side, but the rest of the dairy is over on a different wall... not to mention the most intuitive isle, the "cleaning-products-and-chips" lane... madness!! Overall I gave the store a 3-star score, however, as the range is ultimately just fine, especially for a small store, it's just organised so nonsensically from the consumer's perspective.

Really good selection of foods, both fresh and packaged. Wonderfully displayed and very visually appealing. I did find it to be a little bit narrow in the aisles but I visited mid morning two weeks before Christmas so that's to be expected.

Nice tidy store, good selection with Pam's and value brand as well as more expensive stuff. The staff are usually polite and helpful, same as most supermarkets. The store is a bit on the small side and a bit squished at the start with the fruit and veggies, they usually have a stand in the middle of the walkway with avocados/mandarins etc but it makes it hard to get around and clogs up a bit and further down that one aisle is the same with the meat but otherwise it's well laid out and easy to find what you want.

Being a smaller supermarket than my favourite New World at South City, the product range is smaller but the service is on par with the best I have encountered. However a unique courtesy detail is that staff is available to carry your groceries to your car. Fortunately I have no need for this at this time!

Extremely impressed. Bishopdale New World is not my usual shopping place. This morning I went and had to do three different shops for three different people plus cash. I was tedious but the staff were awesome everyone helpful, store layout was great, food looked appealing -- well done to you all

A smaller NW compared to the bigger Ilam and Fendalton stores. However, they still have the trade mark deli, bakery and butchery which make Pak n Save and CD stores look like after school specials. In the lovely Bishopdale Shopping Centre too near a super butcher , gifts store and second hand book store. My go to!

Good place to shop. Unfortunately, and to no fault of New World, it's often super crowded just because of its convenient location so sadly it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. I must note the staff are typically very kind though, which isn't as common as one would hope, but like I said, this place is good in that regard.

The New World supermarket is a wee bit pricy but it does stock a good variety of fresh vegetables, meats and assorted other products. The supreme is convenient and easy to access from the road with a nice spacious car park directly out front. You would get most things you need there but shopping to the specials in my humble opinion is worth considering to help manage your budget. Of course if that is required. Nonetheless the supermarket is definitely worth vide visiting.

Shopping on a Monday may not be wise as the few 'Simply Dinner' meals in a bag were on their expiry date or had one day remaining. The self packed biscuits had a few days left before expiry but I did not buy as the date recorded for their packaging was up to 6 days ago. The same went for the lolly cake. I was looking for some Nairn's steamed ginger oat biscuits but the shelf was empty as they hadn't been restocked. I won't shop on a Monday again. Check out service was great but silly me forgot my bags so had to load the boot with items directly from the trolley

It's a supermarket? What else can I say? It's a smaller supermarket compared to other new worlds. I'd say its like a bigger, bigger ranged version of a foursquare, except has a decent beer and wine selection.

This is my local new world and most of the times its a fantastic experience up untill we get to the deli who i assume dont want to be there very rarely you get a hello or a nice greeting theres a couple who are wonderful during the day :)
