A. T.This quiet New World, may be not too big, but it is not the smallest either. Pretty decent size, it also has some nice pasta, tomato sauce and flour. Items like these are important as actual organic. They don't use Canadian wheat which contains herbicide. Tomatoes, also, are not overloaded with vinegar. Meat here is also very good, we always end up here to get some beef or pork. Staff is well prepared and helpful. Recommend

Great fish selection, bakery, deli and best range of wine and beers for a supermarket. Friendly and helpful staff. Self-service. Events with freebies and tastings. Wide aisles and not stacked high.

A.My favourite New World. Friendly, helpful staff (unlike Rolleston which is my nearest one - wouldnt recomend that one). Great range of produce, nice clean store.
S.This supermarket has an excellent selection of wines and beers. There are always great sales on so you’ll definitely find a great drop. The deli and bakery have fresh and wonderful foods perfect for grabbing on the way to a BBQ or dinner party. The meat is high quality and so are the fruit and vegetables. The layout of the supermarket is clean, well lit and spacious. The staff are always friendly and they manage the queues at busy times well. Parking is an ease.

M.Very tidy,organized,convenient, fully stocked etc ...tho I see the prices are too high on numerous items 4 example Rose's Chocolates for over $13.No wonder not much sold .Id pay perhaps $10 @most.Only 4 sold @$13 giving a credit to NW for $52.$10 and 8 sold would credit NW $80 alongside satisfied customers.Better off all round
L.My visits to this supermarket has become less frequent. There are many gaps on the shelves and the produce section does not have the variety it used it. It's a real shame as this was my favorite supermarket.

B.Modern building and internal deco. Has a welcoming atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of parking spaces. Love to shop here as the fruits and vegetables are fresh and reasonably priced. Lots of product selections.
Also, the aisles are wide, which makes it easy for me to push the trolley around. Staff attitude was lukewarm as most of them are young people.
Would I go back? Yes and not because of their customer service but for their products.
S. B.Shelves are always well stocked, good in-store bakery with lots of baked goodies to choose from. Specials are worthwhile to look out for ; especially the super savers.

Month's ago I encountered 2 rude workers there at the checkout called the manager he wasn't fazed about it. But today that worker deserves an award... he is 5 star

m. b.New World Ilam is my favourite supermarket. The service is great - never a long wait at the checkout. The bakery is great and the quality higher than other in store NW bakeries. I love their lemon and passionfruit friands and the cheesy mite scrolls are also highly recommended. The deli- made sausage rolls are scummy. Overall pricier than Pak'n'Save but the whole shopping experience at NW Ilam is well worth it.

S.Best thing about New World supermarkets is that they are very well spread out around the area. So, chances are you will have a New World supermarket close to your house. Almost every essential stuff is available and they have Super saver deals on products. The staff is helpful as well.

B. B.I hadn't been in this store for about 2yrs & when I went in today I was pleasantly surprised @ how interesting the contents of the store were. Small islands of varied produce popped up here & there & while I didn't buy a huge amount I am now aware that I can get what I need from this shop 😊.
Tea for the next 2 nites & fish was up first & then I spotted a good sized pork chop so that was all good. A small snack was in order & the lady who served me was polite & friendly & went the extra mile to put some tomato sauce on my hotdog 😋, well what's a hotdog without sauce lol. All up an enjoyable shopping experience & I'll be back for more. 😄
r. m.Every product you could want. A young man called Ethan was on checkout and was very helpful with my query. He went ova and above. I did let his supervisor know. I hav supermarkets in my area of St Albans merivale. But would go to there because of service. Even staff on the floor were very helpful.
