Y.Happy to find dry mushroom, my favourite cooking sauce, tofu and fresh vege there. Still a lot more to explore. The owner is kind and very helpful.

D.Oriental warehouse has a range of Asian foods (Thai, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Philippino,l) both fresh and packaged goods.
The one issue with this shop is there is a large amount of stock that is expired so best check the date before you purchase.
A bit of a messy shop but it’s kind of fun going here. Recommended

S.This was our oriental spices stock-up point before Wanaka. Store was not big and first impression was chaotic and cramped, but surprisingly well stocked with many varieties from all parts of Asia. Buy and get out, don't go for experience.
G.Big shop with a great variety of food goods and home hardware ..well stocked with items coming from all over Asia (Chinese,Philippines,Thailand etc ....) and local too.
Well worth going for browsing as you may find something you want but didn't know you could get in a local shop.

C.Interesting and varied shop. Definitely a place to find that elusive Asian ingredient you require to give your dish that authentic taste. Cheap bananas too!

v.I love this place, moreso for their in house cat who told my boyfriend off for trying to pat it, hilarious! Lots of Asian snacks and great spices.
