This is a local gem. Well known by some ethnic groups in the community. I must say this is a very non threatening Asian supermarket environment to enter even if it's not your usual cooking style. Great for anyone to come in and have a look around. Great price on large sacks of medium grain rice!

Visited once and love it! Heaps of Vegetarian options! Super happy it's close to home!

This is my go to Asian food market friendly staff and real nice selection Lao Gan Ma

Pretty standard local Sunson store. It's next to their warehouse so the place is well stocked with the usual fare. Vital for the fellow Chinese homies.

Good store with plenty of variety. Can be busy and usually only has one till open. Staff are pleasant, even if not particularly friendly.

Sunson was always a great place to buy Taiwanese food in Chch but lately seems to stock more and more Chinese and less Taiwanese. May be an issue with shipping, I don't know.

Great range of products. Great vegetables quality and prices. Lovely and helpful staff. It is great to have such a supermarket in a neighbourhood that we can try something different. We are always happy to come back. We love to buy tofu and vegetables here. Happy to recommend.

Great range of Asian ingredients with extensive vegetarian and vegan meat substitutes unavailable elsewhere. Helpful staff and very affordable prices.

Great local Chinese food shop for people in Wigram without having to go into town with the crowded Church corner shopping. Easy to find what I need but this isn't as stocked as the larger store but great for specialty foods for me. Fresh Tofu is always well stocked and the selection of Rices and grains is excellent. Use of plastic bags is not so good. Time to change this!

Sunson market is one of my favourite shops to get my goodies from. There is such a huge range of products, I only wish I could read what the packaging says! I am obsessed with seaweed and there is always a great range to try. Always very friendly staff as well, and very good prices! Highly recommended!

We shop here quite often as it's the closest Asian market to where we live. Don't have as many varieties of stuff as compared with the one in Church Corner.

It's a small shop but everything is there!

Love going to sunson, great prices and wide range; fresh produce, fresh bread, frozen products, anything you'd need for Asian cooking or just snacks. Especially like the frozen vegetarian options like fake meats and steamed BBQ buns.

Range of dishes to choose. Barbecue hot plates. Good value

Car park congested and one checkout can result in a long wait at times. Staff helpful.

Lots of Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese food products. Also, vegetarian food products. Good choices for vegetarian.

They have both Eftpos and credit cards as well as Wechat Pay. To pay by credit card, you need to spend NZD $30 or more. If not, need to pay either by cash, Eftpos or Wechat Pay.

Not complete as mostly is chinese products, thre are few items for Pilipinos, Thai, Taiwanese, Singaporean.

Really nice and helpful people there. Great for picking up items that the big chains don't stock.
