This was our first stop before our 9 days campervan trip in South New Zealand began. We got everything we need in this supermarket and I love shopping in this place. I am very happy that I could also find my favorite Indomie here 😘

Very big shopping mall especially for who plan to travel by canpervan dor motorhome, here is a good place to buy your foods and ingredients. There are parking lots for big motorhome and the best part is it's only 5 mins from the CHC airport and car rental offices

Was travelling on my own and in the dark, relying on uber to get me to out of town so I ordered click & collect hoping to get to my room soon so I didn’t miss check in. Sis gave me the dirtiest look when I said I’m here for click & collect 🤦‍♀️ sorry I got yous to do your job lol if I’m ever in chch again I’m doing click & collect just for the hell of it 😂 4 stars because everything was there and sis still did what she gets paid to do 😘 everyone works sis you’re not hard done by. From the other reviews it sounds like a lot of people here have an attitude problem.

Been using this Countdown since day one. The current and past staff, managers and the whole team are the most friendly, well-mannered and helpful team I have ever encountered anywhere. Shopping at this Countdown is easy as it could be. I only use this Countdown as it is convenient to work, although the prices are a bit dearer than other Countdown. Dearer prices are the only reason can’t shop here all the time.

It is perfect for our tourists coming from the airport too. They can hop off the plane and come to buy all their things they need. It is right next to lots of food places too, so that’s also a plus.

It's a good store for picking a few things up. It's quite small and has a limited range. Very clean and well layed out, but it's your weekly shop I would recommend driving the extra 2 minutes to Hornby

Most incredible customer service experience I have ever received at a Supermarket! Shopping with three kids under 5 can be fun at the best of times however the Christchurch Airport store did everything they could to make it as easy as possible! This supermarket has fresh fruit and vegetables. It sells meat, fish and dairy products. It sells alcohol (beer, wine and cider but not spirits). The parking is great and it is in a medium sized shopping complex with many fast food stores and a few dine-in restaurants. I like the cleanliness if the supermarket and the friendliness of the staff. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.

Great place very helpful staff, only problem I had is with my technology, my OneCard is loaded onto an app and doesn't work on the instore checkouts. This is not the stores fault just a technical fault.

This airport was one of our best airport experiences ever. The pass through all the checks a breeze, the officials nice and smiling, and the airport layout efficient. We got out and into our car in half an hour, and after a quick supply stop at the super outside, were on our wat. It really shows that this airport staff know what they are doing, and their management is great! We really appreciate this.

So this is the closest and the first super market visit in New Zealand. We got our van from Britz campervan and headed here to stock up. The countdown is huge and the grocery and especially the fresh produce is amazing. I wish I could ha e bought everything. They have a special nuts section. The 🍅 are so beautiful. I think this is one for the biggest countdown I have been. I think log of people are picking up their can head here to shop because it is close by to lot of campervan pick up areas.

It's a countdown. Not the largest but not the smallest. The checkouts are well staffed most of the time and there are a few shelf checkouts as well. Can usually find a park right by the door.

Something of interest! .... If you are grocery shopping and have younger kids then they are allowed to eat one piece of fuit for free while you are there. All sounth island countdown's have this in house rule. (Please give this a thumb up below if this post helps you)
