O.Highly recommend. Very professional. Double check food expiration date in front of me. The best thing is the young lady has a good experience to face a bad smoking customer. The staff just ignore this customer who has a big voice and impolite language, no argue with a lovely smile. I know it is a big challenge for a small business at this stage. If this bad thing happened in a big supermarket, this bad smoke lady will be has big trouble!
M.Very disappointing to see few customers are so rude to the staff who is working there! I saw an old man who was abusolutly impolite to talk to the staff, and then he juat wrote a comment to complain about staff was rude, oh mygoodness unbeliveable!
About food expiration. I have no idea other staff who is working there. but when I was shopping at the shop, the young lady to check the date EVERY SINGLE TIME IN FRONT OF ME! A very good staff.
Personnally, I suggusted that when you write a comment to anyone or anywhere, please be fair! PLEASE! BE NICE to customer service staff, be nice to everyone. Life or people alway SURPISE You. Thank you!
J.I’m from India study at Otago Uni. According to the NZ Law, staff can refuse Nicole Rodgers cash out at Macandrew Bay Store. She can get cash out from ATM or Bank! Sometimes, we’re trying to be nice to others but the result is out of our expectations. So sad! This is a good shop, staffs are nice and polite. I had a good memories with my family a couple of months ago.

B.When I was shopping at liquor area of Mac Bay store around 2pm today, a roadwork man is going crazy by using bad language to attack the staff. Because the staff gave him $5 in coins. Some of dairy shop has been shortage of $5 or $10 notes during a long holiday, I’m understanding that. Wish this impolite man is never coming back to Mac Bay! Give a 5 stars for the staff, she is keep smiling for serving next customer. All the best.
k.I LOVE our local shop. when I was shopping at MAC BAY store 15 mins ago. one of senior madam was complained about an item is expensive by coming to rude speak. the staff is working at shop not the shop owner,. if you are not happy to pay just leave it. I suggest that if you had a bad day, relax yourself ,please do not be angary at someone else.
N.I’m working in the town. Nicole Rodgers is the worst customer for my shop. I had the same situation as Mac Bay staff a year ago. Nicole Rodgers is bossy to ask cash out and her signature is not same as her bank card! All shops shouldn’t do any cash out to her! I can understand Macandrew Bay store staff she is working there today not the shop owner, she needs ask customers sign your name on the receipt. Nicole Rodgers is always complaining, everywhere.
H.I got lost. I saw a young lady was close the shop ready to go home. She was the greatest helper to drive me back to volcano in Broad Bay. Definitely come back to this store for shopping with my husband next time. Thank you very much!
a.shop stuff was away 10 mins for toilet, they put a sign on the door will be back in 10 mins. A crazy man less patient to wait by kicking the door. That was rude and impolite. Please protect our local store, if anyone see this situation in front of you please phone call police station on 03-4780209. I did.
N.A Nice Asian shop to go. Good customer service. But one of customer siad that run by rude asians with very limited English and terrible selection. It is absolutely unfair. I was standing behind that customer, she was impolite by using bad language talk to the young lady.
W.hi all, it is important to note that you will pay an extra fees if you ask for an empty milk shake cup or an ice cream cone. the young lady who is just working in the store, she has no right to give customers extra stuff for free. please talk to the shop owner if is necessary.
