Recently the prices for goods at New World have sky rocketed. My food bill has gone up 10 to 15 percent over the past 3 months. Not happy with that. Service at New World is very good though. Staff are friendly and Happy to help. Best time to shop for me is 7pm.

Rarely, you will find a tranquil place not far from city as a place for your groceries. I always buy fresh vegetables from here due to the quality. Very friendly staff and the community around this store are simply awesome. Oh, I forgot to mention, please do not forget to try their delicious Sushi rolls, simple a bargain for quality!

Very well stocked. Lots of fresh veggies. I was looking for parsley but it wasn't available. Such a basic stuff Otherwise check out ladies were nice and helpful.

Excellent customer service from younger woman when I enquired about supply of espresso decaf coffee. She offered to check it out and got back to me to explain the situation. And said she'd follow up again when things improve and I'd bet she does. Right person in the right job. Thanks.

Used to come here very often before I moved. Handy to a pharmacy and also get greeted by the buskers that were out the front, often very friendly and nice to hear the lovely music. The store is very tidy and well stocked. Went back there recently after not going for a few years and they had removed part of an aisle that annoyed every to allow a better flow of people when entering and making your supermarket trips quicker Had a bad experience with getting electrostatic shocks from any of the metals there no matter what material clothes I wore. Also discussed with friends who seemed to have the same issues.

Great little local supermarket. Nice staff too. Good layout, enough carparks, they make a mean hot cross bun too. I just wish they would stop putting prices up. And up. And up.

I always do my groceries shopping here because I like walking through the gardens from my flat. Normally quite busy. Typical NW you can get everything here. Had their freshly baked 79¢ turkish bread and lemon loaf. Former was nice but the latter wasn't.

One of my favourite gardens of all times. There is just so much to discover here - it takes more than just a day to see everything. The duck pond is really beautiful, as well as going up the mountain near the aviary - it's just so lovely and worth visiting!

Was a little chaotic today due to a few shoppers with stocking up on the mind. The store however is doing well to keep stocks on the shelves and limit purchase quantities for in demand items. The staff were friendly and helpful at the checkout. No waiting which was excellent.

This has to be my favourite supermarket in Dunedin. The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and the range of products they have in store in comparison to the size of the store itself is excellent. It is obvious that the management of the store listen to the local community and carry the products that we need a d prefer. The one thing I would change if I could, would be to have them open at 7 am just so I could always get things before I go to work.

Best supermarket in Dunedin (and maybe NZ). Very pleasant environment. Great range of products, good international selection, good bakery. Only problem is that , because it is so popular, sometimes the car park is full to overflowing.

So impressed by this supermarket. The products on display in the Deli butchery were beautifully made with obvious pride and care. I was also really pleased to see that they have gone SO much further than just removing plastic bags from checkouts. All of the Deli products are packaged in non plastic containers. Will continue to shop there whenever l'm in Dunedin.q

This supermarket has the kindest, most thoughtful staff in Dunedin. The range of products on the shelves has become more diverse in the past few years and I can always find what I came for! Now, just before Christmas, there are some decorations and there is a happy atmosphere. Well done!

This was our local supermarket when we lived in Dalmore area. A bit bigger now. Well stocked as most New Worlds are.

Has good range of food. Lots of check outs so can be fast depending in when you go. Went there while daughter got haircut next door. Nice and handy even has post office. Nice flow with pre papered meals like sushi that are good for lunch. They also have nice breads and baked goods they do in store my favorite is ciabatta because it is light and fluffy a lot better then other places were it is more dense and not so nice

MY favourite New World in Dunedin. A handy CARPARK which is free parking. Bring your own bags as they don't do single use plastic bags. They pack your groceries. Nice and clean with excellent quality produce.

Most convenient supermarket in the North East Valley Area if you are in Dunedin. Like all the other New World supermarket, this small supermarket has everything you need for your daily grocery needs. But the international section is small so don't expect a huge variety in this area. Their lunches are cheap compared to other shops and yummy as well. Look out for the chicken wraps!

New renovations have made the store more spacious and provided room for a greater range of stock. The bakery section is one of the best amongst the Dunedin supermarkets.
