T.Luv this place unfortunately they didn't have the large bags of small onions for pickling
D.Vegi boys near the university of Otago is the usual place we go to get fruit and some veggies. They are far cheaper with most fruit and veg than the supermatkets. Some good deals to be had here.
B.New owners are SUPER nice and keen to help. However sometimes the produce could be a bit better... but that could be a supply issue(?). Definitely cheaper than supermarkets
C.Cheap feeds. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's also great for picking up bulk fruit during the season for fermentation or jamification.

A.This is my go-to for bananas, always well priced and a lot cheaper than ones from the supermarket. Their produce is cheap and fresh, which is really helpful especially when you're a student on a tight budget! Lovely customer service too :)

M.My top place for veggies. The prices are always cheap and seasonal items are actually affordable. I spend almost half at what I would have at other bigger stores. They often so veg bundles for soups and stuff and it's a good place to get some items in bulk, for example potatoes. They are also the only place that I've found that sells Carolina Reaper chilis and various other hot peppers.
M.Being a backpacker on a low budget i am so happy to have a place where i can afford to buy healthy and fresh fruits and vegetables! They might sometimes have little beauty marks or the cucumbers are not perfectly straight, but that is the last thing i could worry about. Much gratefulness and love for this local business ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
