C. J.Was passing through Gisborne on a camper trip and wanted to get some meat from a butcher. I visited two others before Evans which were a bit underwhelming with so continued on - a bit skeptical with Meat Supermarket making me think more Mad Butcher. But let me tell you - Evans is the place to go! An amazing selection of meats - both packaged and in cabinet, and really lovely staff on top of that. Highly recommend the Apple, Sage and Rosemary sausages after getting the same recommendation from a staff member. Caters to both more bulk size, and smaller purchases.
A. B.Purchased silverside however when we opened plastic bag found that it was cut in pieces at one end. Rung & explnot help as piece cost $36 told to bring & would exchange. Took back to store & the butcher exchange. Lovely dinner happy customer

I still carry on the Tradition & frequent the isles for something new to dish up! *One of the best Butchers in Gisborne & the Staff are friendly & helpful too.
