Their deli is awesome. Sadly many products are out of stock, especially cat food. Fresh fruit and veg are surprisingly well priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Great range of products, large and bright store, helpful staff. Disappointed they don't have an SPCA or Foodbank box, not even at Xmas. Had to sneak into Countdown and put my donations in there.

I would recommend New World to anyone because it's such a great supermarket and the staff are also very helpful as well

Friendly helpful staff and a wide variety of stock. Been going here 10+ years and I couldn't find a better supermarket on the coast. Currently undergoing major renovations to include a cafe and expand parts of the supermarket. Still easily accessible and exciting to see the new changes happening.

Best supermarket in Greymouth well stocked most of the time, bread runs out most days if you want a main brand. But thanks to the self-service lanes there's not too much queing. Way better service than the Greymouth Countdown. Over all experience's clean tidy, and helpful staff, I'd rate it 8/10

This super market has a really good range of stuff for those looking to avoid eating out for every meal. They get really busy though so expect a wait. The people working there smash through the long lines pretty quickly. Around 6 is a very busy time to visit and the parking is fairly limited.

Best supermarket in Greymouth fruit and veggies are fresher than Countdown and self service makes for quick easy shopping unlike Countdown where the ques are ridiculously long understaffed understocked. Thankful we have New World 10/10

I live in England, but have visited this supermarket when visiting NZ and it was very clean attractive produce,especially deli, and now deal yearly as I call them every Christmas to send my dear friends a voucher. Great service, brilliant staff to deal with by phone, nothing too much trouble and my friends get money from us, without me having to do a bankers draft or pay postage. Love it .

I have to say that new world Greymouth is one of the best new worlds I've had the pleasure of going to and shopping at. An amazing experience. A wonderful assortment of wonderful fresh produce including vegetables and for those who enjoy it meat.. Very competitive prices an easy layout and friendly staff all make going there a wonderful worthwhile way to shop. Wheelchair parking and wheelchair shop access is available for those that require.. A notice board is available for local information including rental properties and for sale item's

Great staff very cheerful bunch they always ask how my day has been with a smile. Produce is fresh and have a good selection of fruit and vege. I like that I can use my flybuys as well, definitely the better supermarket to shop and find all that you need, plenty of staff on hand that are happy to assist you if you can't find what you need

If it's possible to have a favorite grocery store this one is unparalleled in fresh produce. Seriously wish Whangarei store managers would holiday here and see the high quality.

Love the largely plastic-free fruit and veg! The staff member I asked had never heard of lentils which was pretty funny but otherwise good!

Great range, good prices, not cluttered (nice wide aisles). Fresh produce looked very fresh, fish looked clean and fresh and wasn't smelly. A good range of meat.
