Their deli is awesome. Sadly many products are out of stock, especially cat food. Fresh fruit and veg are surprisingly well priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Great range of products, large and bright store, helpful staff. Disappointed they don't have an SPCA or Foodbank box, not even at Xmas. Had to sneak into Countdown and put my donations in there.

Supplies of certain products not there, also prices have jumped. Probably the same everywhere. Good staff trying to cope 👍.

Currently under refurbishment outside mainly, but not much disruption for customers The usual high standards of good and service.

Expensive as so are all supermarket's these days but cheeper than Countdown in Greymouth been the last few months. Staff are very polite and helpful.

I would recommend New World to anyone because it's such a great supermarket and the staff are also very helpful as well

Friendly helpful staff and a wide variety of stock. Been going here 10+ years and I couldn't find a better supermarket on the coast. Currently undergoing major renovations to include a cafe and expand parts of the supermarket. Still easily accessible and exciting to see the new changes happening.

Best supermarket in Greymouth well stocked most of the time, bread runs out most days if you want a main brand. But thanks to the self-service lanes there's not too much queing. Way better service than the Greymouth Countdown. Over all experience's clean tidy, and helpful staff, I'd rate it 8/10

best supermarket produce in Greymouth meat and bakery as good as you would get in Christchurch. well laid out store

This super market has a really good range of stuff for those looking to avoid eating out for every meal. They get really busy though so expect a wait. The people working there smash through the long lines pretty quickly. Around 6 is a very busy time to visit and the parking is fairly limited.

Best supermarket in Greymouth fruit and veggies are fresher than Countdown and self service makes for quick easy shopping unlike Countdown where the ques are ridiculously long understaffed understocked. Thankful we have New World 10/10

Every product you could wish for. Great self service, never seems to be big lines of people waiting to be served. Very quick check outs. Good hard working staff.

I liked my visit. Would be good if a staff member can pre weigh the lollies they have for sale, rather than not sell any at all during covid level 4.

More expensive supermarket but you get what you pay for. Great service and a very tidy store.

Great supermarket! Awesome selection and prices. Only issue is a lot of the time staff are blocking isles and it is difficult to shop as they dont always move. Apart from this its a great store! One checkout lady in particular is awesome very friendly and kind!

I live in England, but have visited this supermarket when visiting NZ and it was very clean attractive produce,especially deli, and now deal yearly as I call them every Christmas to send my dear friends a voucher. Great service, brilliant staff to deal with by phone, nothing too much trouble and my friends get money from us, without me having to do a bankers draft or pay postage. Love it .

Excellent supermarket, fresh produce is of the best quality and pricing is very reasonable. Store is very well laid out and plenty of parking and easy access. In store bakery is a highlight and staff are always ready to help.

I have to say that new world Greymouth is one of the best new worlds I've had the pleasure of going to and shopping at. An amazing experience. A wonderful assortment of wonderful fresh produce including vegetables and for those who enjoy it meat.. Very competitive prices an easy layout and friendly staff all make going there a wonderful worthwhile way to shop. Wheelchair parking and wheelchair shop access is available for those that require.. A notice board is available for local information including rental properties and for sale item's

Great staff very cheerful bunch they always ask how my day has been with a smile. Produce is fresh and have a good selection of fruit and vege. I like that I can use my flybuys as well, definitely the better supermarket to shop and find all that you need, plenty of staff on hand that are happy to assist you if you can't find what you need

If it's possible to have a favorite grocery store this one is unparalleled in fresh produce. Seriously wish Whangarei store managers would holiday here and see the high quality.

Normal supermarket, nothing amazing about it.

I'm not sure I'll ever figure out the logic behind the store layout but, that aside, it is a good grocery store and well stocked with a good range of items. They also now have a tourist discount/membership card.

Love the largely plastic-free fruit and veg! The staff member I asked had never heard of lentils which was pretty funny but otherwise good!

Great range, good prices, not cluttered (nice wide aisles). Fresh produce looked very fresh, fish looked clean and fresh and wasn't smelly. A good range of meat.

They elder grey hair lady at self service never says hello back to me or my partner but is happy to say hello to other shoppers around us it happen all the time that's why only 4stars rest of nw counter staff are awesome always say hello back to us sad but true

Definitely a good place to get a few bits and pieces if you're in Greymouth, if you like cooking Asian Cuisine they have the best supplies.

Very friendly staff and a wide selection of goods for anything you could want. Helpfully, there's a Mobil just adjacent, in case you want to take advantage of the petrol discount right away!

Very good service, marvellous staff !! The writing on the signs between the ailses is ridiculously small, need to be changed so older people can read them. Other than that a well run outfit

Prefer to shop at New World Greymouth. I reckon most items are cheaper and it is just a much better shopping experience. Staff is friendly too.

Really helpful staff. Set us up with a discount card that saved us money and got a petrol discount. Big store and competitive prices. Served us well.

Easy to find your way round

Top marks to the staff for their work on Thursday. They were just as helpful and courteous as always although the shop was packed.

Favorite supermarket.

Friendly helpfully staff. The shelfs are well stacked and you can find anything groceries under one roof.

New World made me who I am. My physical structure is mostly made of Taiwan lunches and New World ham. Using this ham and cheese sandwich we shall create a new world using New World.

I didn't go in but my friend says it is a nice clean store.

There are just two supermarkets in grey mouth. This has more premium products and better staffed for service.
