I especially like their vegan, health food, organic & international selection. Their prices are competitive & you can save money by purchasing there instead of the health food shops. Especially if you swipe your Onecard.

Big branch of Countdown in town here. Easy to get access. Lots of parking space. Various kinds of snacks to grab. Wide shelf of daury products. Hot promotion for many types of products such as chocolate bar, that's why the shelf almost wiped out. Good service and helpful staff.

This Countdown always seems to have good levels of stock. It feels and looks clean, and the staff are friendly. It is a lot quieter than the normal Countdown I go to, which is really nice through Covid.

Plenty of car park space. When entering the premise, it looked and felt clean. The isles seem wide, a nice spacious. The only down fall is where the building is situated, but that is a minor downfall.

Great selection but the alarm beeped when I entered the shop. Nobody checked... whatever triggered the BEEP at the entry, it happened on the way out too. I had to ask if I can leave, just to be sure not to get in trouble but nobody came to check me.

I found everything I needed but was shocked at the amount of plastic used for the piece of frittata I purchased. A tray big enough for five pieces of frittata and shrink wrap around it. The server said he would only wrap it once for me I stead of the regular double wrapping. I asked why it couldn't have gone into one of the paper bags on the counter and the reply was food hygiene. This is the problem, not the solution. Very disappointing.

They always seem to be in stock of things even when the Claudlands store is out of stock. The team are always friendly and the store is always clean. No complaints.

Its a countdown. They all lay out about the same now. And have pretty comparable stock availability. Its right near the park n save if you need to pop through either for something you're missing. Its next to the police station and court house if thats a thing that matters to you.

Good selection this supermarket, it also has click and collect and a lotto shop. Fruit seems to be of good quality and they also make fresh sushi on site. The rest is pretty standard for countdown but the staff are really friendly

Another good experience from Countdown,being an out of town shopper to the city under an emergency/essiental catagory.Went there around 10 am and no line.However 30 mins later it had grown but was steadily moving.Security on doors friendly as were shop staff in these trying times. Most shelves full and others being restocked. Good selection of everything one expects from a Supermarket ...

In a nut shell, if you're looking for great bargains Countdown has some specials on particular items, not all. Great clean place to shop and ample parking

This supermarket is way better than the packnsave on Clarence street, I feel so much safer being allowed to carry my satchel on me instead of putting everything in my pockets. Everything is much more visible, the lighting of the store is great and best of all, the majority of products pruces are cheaper than packnsave with much more variety

This shop is like the corner store to me. Not my main grocery store but convenient and has a good home wares section.

Good place for quick shop with ample sized parking to fit a good sized ute. The range of products are good and very competitive when it comes to prices and specials. It pays to shop around for a good deal with pakNsave just around the corner. Another bonus for Countdown is the discount on fuel you get when you swipe your AA card.

Always a pleasure shopping at this Countdown. The modern facilities and friendly staff make the experience great. There is plenty of parking and with this stores close proximity to the city and river walkway it is ideally located to pop in before heading home to pick up supplies.

A nice countdown branch with modern design. Although they haven't stock pretzels, yet; they do have a nice EV charging stations at their car park. A great way to differentiate from their competitors, especially pak n save just across the street.

Easy to identify the super market in the heart of Hamilton city. Next to the Hamilton police station or the round about. Big branch and good car parking facility. You can get chilled beer and wine and grab a snack from the chips section. Self service checkout is also available. Staffs are really friendly and happy to help you at any time. Product finding is also easy here because they have a big boar in every isle.

Stopped in at this local countdown in the heart (or potentially lung, as it's a bit off to the side) of Central Hamilton, not only can you count on these guys to keep the prices down, but as it is next to the Hamilton central police station you can pretty much count on them to help you feel safe from criminals when shopping, the downside of this is you would feel a bit more conspicuous if you were a thief trying to steal, say, a meat pack - you could imagine the response time would be fairly short (not to imply that I'm a meat thief or would ever encourage that sort of behavior, I'm not one, and I wouldn't, but if you were, don't do it here) if you steal apples however and are considered a child there is a small basket of juicy fruit just waiting, nevermind that the sign says "free for children" - I once, underestimating my need for supermarket produce, used a shopping basket instead of a trolley, and filled it up too much then carried it around the store, choosing to tough it out and get yet another basket for the rest of my goods. later I found I had sore arm muscles, without having gone to the gym. 10/10 would combine workout and shopping again.

Your Bridge Street store went far and beyond for my wife Ann and our daughter who had just been discharged from hospital after a major operation. A mistake was made which was immediately rectified. They have blown us away with their kindness. Can't thank them enough.
