Service 4/10 Holiday season means busy super markets yes, have found new world shelves forever low if not already out of stock. The trolley collecting CUSTOMER deserves a job, not even employed yet collects from all over the carpark and has some amazing manners.

Quite a small, neighborhood supermarket with limited ranges in any one category, but shelves are kept well stocked. They have excellent produce and meat departments and newly installed freezers.

I normally shop for groceries on the west side of Hamilton but happened to be in your area last week so thought I would shop with you. Apart from finding the temperature a bit too cool for my liking, I couldn’t fault the experience. Great range of goods, good service at the checkouts and best of all, I bought a leg of lamb which is absolutely beautiful, great taste and tender. I don’t know where you source your meat from but don’t change your supplier!! I was somewhat nervous about purchasing it because I had given up buying meat from my local supermarket. Good work!

It is ok I went to the supermarket for a can of hot chocolate. Before there was security guard controlling the mall, due to the virus. Unfortunately no security guards, no social distance, no face masks. Customer service was very good. Met customer service representative I'd not seen for some time. Within the last year or two the shop is looking much smarter. The layout of items is much better, the staff are friendly and clearly keen to work there, everything looks clean and presentable, there are always shopping baskets available, and the produce always looks decent. The floral arrangements are particularly brilliant at this supermarket.

If you want to buy Kumara, potatoes or onions don't go to supermarket first as they have them outside in foyer before you enter, I didn't even notice this and looked for ages until a staff member told me and of course I couldn't go out and buy so I went to my local countdown, bad positioning New World for customers that aren't local

The staff are always very friendly and happy to help. The produce is continuously fresh and we'll stocked and I thoroughly enjoy shopping here. The only downside is that the prices are quite expensive in comparison to everywhere else.

My local supermarket for 40 years. Use to be known as the Big A. To those that think it needs a tear down, this is New Zealands first shopping mall so it is an historic building which may be why it has not been modernised. I would give it more stars but cannot as the customer service is aweful. The staff there treat you like you are an annoyance to them. Often grumpy and unhelpful. They often refuse to pack bags too.
