Always have what I am looking for and some great specials. They have a good selection of meat pack sizes so you only have to buy as much as you need. Very clean and tidy during Covid times with a very good system set up to keep the customers and staff safe.

Wow! This place has one of the best pies I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Came here on a whim to pick up some dinner essentials on our way back to Auckland and boy did we make the right decision to try out their bakery. A local secret I reckon!? I'll probably make any excuse to come by here again just to have their pies (mince/mince-cheese). The pastry is perfect and crunchy, the pie doesn't fall apart when eating it half way and the mince is heavenly done so right you don't have that mincey taste in your mouth after finishing. Yum!!

I thought the way they handled lockdown was of a very high standard and people were treated with respect. I loved it when the packing of customer groceries came back. Also the helpfulness of staff and going the extra mile. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is for the last couple of weeks when I have done my weekly shop the checkout operator has not had their own packer This slows them down and I helped back today as I was in a hurry

Great service, always given a personal shopping service every time I go if I ask where something is I am taken to the aisle rather than just told aisle 6. The checkout staff always leave you feeling good about your day. Food is always fresh and shop is well presented. Follow on facebook they have good updates there too!

Always a pleasure at new world rototuna. Just in case you didn't know you can currently get fresh new Zealand cray fish from the seafood counter for about $45 a cray. We gave dad 2 for Valentine's day and I haven't seen him smile so big or be so keen to cook in years. They packed them nicely and delivered them to the check out all smiling and happy ( the staff not the crays). It's a very clean well presented store with always helpful staff. Lovely top of the range goods and excellent lower cost brands too. Lots and lots of parking too. It is the must try supermarket for Hamilton.

Good selection and wide aisles make for a pleasant shopping experience. I like that there's a deli and specialist meats counter too, although the international foods are a bit limited. A few things tend to run short if you go straight after 5pm, so time your visits around that.

One of my favourite New Worlds to shop at in Hamilton. Always a huge variety of options, they have plenty to choose from in the deli for hungry bellies. Staff are always so friendly and I really enjoy how they communicate with their customers always via Facebook

This is a great New World. Their range is excellent, particularly in the deli, bakery, and butchery/seafood departments. The store is clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to leave you satisfied. Parking is easy with a large carpark.

Great selection of gluten free products and diabetic products. As usual, the fish was noticeable around the shop, which would be ideal for a toilet paper promotion 😂. I noticed that the mince meat was more expensive than in Wellington, which is unusual considering it was probably produced a few minutes down the road. Good frozen food selection, and the only minor quibble was the checkout lady stuffed all our groceries in 2 bags instead of the 5 we had ready. Fortunately we had time to repack in the car park.

The Butchery Department and their cuts are some of the best I've ever seen in a supermarket. The Butchery who served us today took the time to explain a good steak and how to determine what we are looking for. Very impressed and thankful for such kind initiative and time

Where do I start? I haven't been to Rotouna New World in several years as it's a distance from home. I went to the Gluten Free section and spent ages looking at the massive selection. So much stuff that I haven't seen at other supermarkets.... I haven't had Vegemite in years. As it contains gluten... but they had a gluten free Vegemite.. I went in for just a dozen things but spent $150.00. Other stores have a terrible selection of Gluten Free foods and if they have them they are hidden in crazy places. Its a struggle to buy frozen Gluten Free foods as well and I have to search the whole frozen department to find nothing. At Rotouna New World they have a separate freezer for Gluten Free Foods with a fantastic selection! At the checkout 2 young guys a checkout operator and packer were amazing. Great customer service and friendly. Asked if I wanted my meat separate and if I wanted it wrapped in paper. Best supermarket experience in a very long time! I'm going to submit my experience to New World Rotouna! Totally blown away with top notch service and selection! Thanks Jas ☺👏😘
