T. S.I'll always shop here. Staff go above and beyond.. over Xmas I forgot my card and just had a small amount of change on me. I was $1.49 short. The young checkout guy pulled out his own bankcard and payed the different.. It may not have been a lot of money but the gesture made my day. All the staff are friendly and helpful as. Cherie Jones is so awesome. She always has me leaving the shop laughing 😅🤣

H. M.Serves the community well. Does a lot of competitions and fun stuff. Well staffed. Not the biggest range but then again, space is quite small so they offer what they can. Good prices on some local goods.

M. Z.Good supermarket, the only one in flaxmere. It's a bit of an older building, but it's always very clean. You can also get some nice chicken and chips here. They pretty much always have all their tills open and the wait isn't that long.

She was able to help me out with the glasses I was missing down to the point of putting them aside for me. Thanks very much

R. W.I always do my shopping at New World Flaxmere. It's convenient and I don't have to travel far. I staff are always friendly and you get good bargains.
B. M.New world Flaxmere is a staple to everyone that lives in Flaxmere. It's necessary, but forever has had bottle necks that prevent it from being a great supermarket.
The store is small. In the village space is at a premium, and New World has never had room to grow.
The space it does have though it utilizes well. Albeit with a bit of a cluttered feel (unavoidable given the premesis).
Staff are friendly, but are generally flat out at the registers.
They have a couple of high points, those being good specials, and great tasting ready to eat cooked food from the deli.
All in all Flaxmere New World is oh so handy when you need to pop to a supermarket out these ways, but for a weekly shop, the ten minute drive to Pak n Save or Countdown in Hastings may be preferable.
