I never have a problem with Countdown . Staff always helpful and obliging . And of course gold card discounts on Tuesdays.

It was very busy. The information desk covers lotto, phone calls, online pick ups & customer enquiries. This area was maned by 1 person this morning. The staff member did the best possible but many customers were waiting for some time due to the lack of staffing.

The shop assistant was very helpful to find a product we were looking for ,went the extra mile in fact the lady stopped what she was doing and spent some time enquiring for us inquiring at counter where said product was located.

One of the best places for your shopping in Invercargill. The best thing is that it is open till midnight. A well arranged place, with great customer service, a great car park and a wide range of products. Veggies are comparatively fresh from other places. Frozen foods are also good when compared to others. All in all Countdown is awesome. I have bought one blender from there, and after 3 months it stopped working. I got to them and without any issues they gave the full refund that I paid for the product. Really good customer service :)

my partner bought me my groceries when he was in wellington(click n collect).so that I can just pick it up. always ready to pick up on time. but there was one time My partner order for 1 kg onions and they only put 1 piece with 1 kg cost. thank god they sorted it out.

I was gonna put it down one lower for the messiness of everything tonight, especially random full or empty or plain cardboard boxes all over the tops of the shelves, but then I do understand that it's restocking night so gotta cut some slack. This particular Countdown feels out of place, like it's a store within a building made for something entirely different (and maybe that is) because of the super high ceiling, the occasional stairwells along the front and back walls, and then being able to see the creepy looking ventilation-like rooms lit up behind the giant ventilation grates along the back wall. There also wasn't a noticable entry way into the store as instead you walk in through the checkout counters? Not used to that in NZ.

It was nice to go to the supermarket and walk around, find what you need on the shelves without to many peoplein the store. The staff were friendly and helpful and had my groceries all sorted before 8am.

Well unlike their rude pharmacy staff, the staff in the Supermarket are very nice, particularly Andrew who served us at the checkout. He was so bright and friendly that you couldn't help but leave with a smile on your face. He is a staff member worth his weight in gold. The range in this store is good, the hours great for us as tourists. It meant we could grab some supplies after our dinner out before we headed back to our Motel. We also visited the day before and just wanted to note the trolley bay situation. Trolleys are being stacked almost across the entrance door. I am disabled so it could cause a problem for people in wheelchairs. I was ok though. Excellent disabled parking spaces right at the door too.

Good prices as always but the staffs customer service was disappointing. I know it's busy at Christmas but it fealt like a funeral. Warren in the butchery was your only saving grace who is always polite and good for a laugh.

Not easy to find some products. But they do have a Pharmacy inside. Different !!! Be aware as we didn't know, Supermarkets in Invercargill don't sell Alcohol at all. Because they are Family Friendly. Well done. An awesome idea. I did decide that I really didn't need it anyway.

My last visit was not so satisfying. I like Countdown it has staff we needed for certain grocery items. And we frequently go there to purchased pur wee man's milk. It's only here we can get this kind of milk which we are so happy and glad. But every now and then, the shelve is almost empty. There are times that there's no milk display. I hope they keep an eye on items which are very popular and refill the shelve. I dont think they run iut of stock of the milk it juat that there's no enough people of staff to refill the selves. It's important for us consumer and customer to get the item that were looking in there shop. It's very disappointing that we end up or going home unsatisfied and gutted that simply because the shelves hasn't been updated and refill with stocks we weren't able to get waht we wanted and afr for.
