Very pleasant staff and helpful too. Only thing lacking is the range of fresh fish. Apart from that a very good selection of products at very good prices.

Slow service at checkouts due to no help at packing while you are busy paying. Pak & Save and New World Windsor are far more user friendly. Only thing Countdown has in its favour, is higher prices overall, and better range of products than the others.

I wouldn't advise click and collect. 9 times out of 10 there is an issue. Often with items missing or other people's items instead of your own. Very frustrating

We live on the other side of Invercargill but will go out to Waikiwi Countdown if we can not get some items, like Ninety nine lemonade in at the Invercargill Central Countdown. One problem I have is that Countdown advertised that it will replace their black reusable bags and I have been to both stores and one or two of my bags needed replaced but the staff have not done it and I have remarked about it to them and they have just looked at me as if the did not know what I was talking about.
