B.Small supermarket but it has a good location and always available parking. Stuff is super friendly. Fruits and vegetables are better and cheaper here than in the competition.
J.When I reached the checkout, all three staff members were wearing their masks under their noses. I think for one it has just slipped, but one of the other two said it was "because we can't breath properly". So it's New World for me from now on.
M.Kind staff, good location, and ample parking area. It has pretty poor variety in healthy food and sugar-free

M.At least it is in Kaikohe so it keeps its competitor honest and allows you to get products exclusive to the franchise, but it's rather small. Cramped, even.
But sadly it doesn't have nearly the same popularity, and it's pretty easy to see why. It's size means that it may not stock items that you may have to travel to Kerikeri to get.

A.Staff are always helpful and friendly. After a long day of work, it is nice to be greeted with a smile and warm conversation, even the security staff. I really appreciate their consistency 😊
L.Checkout operators were very friendly even when the eftpos wasn't working properly, without fuss the operator moved the person in front of me to the next checkout to be helped so I could be served relatively quickly - great team work! Thank you. I found everything I needed quite quickly even though I am new to the store :-)
K.Its the local supermarket. Sadly it don't have a deli like I was yous to in Auckland or at New World Kaikohe. Apart from that, you're always bound to find a smiling staff member here thats always willing to help if you need it, making your shop swift. Always got some good prices on meat too
N.I love shopping here, I've lived in Kaikohe before Countdown was erected. Beautiful service, I have found basic grocery items are priced within any persons budget. There are a lot of foods that are priced above my budget, but saving on so many items, makes them affordable the next grocery day. Thank you Countdown love your service and love shopping at yours...

They always have plentiful supplies of bread at a cost of $1 each.
Always strike a bargain here.
The butchery supply is limited but adequate.
V.What makes this a good place to shop are the warm hearted Maori women at the checkout. Great humans with immense emotional and spiritual intelligence.

A.Just the meat range is quite limited and there are no trolleys for wheelchair users which I am. But the staff are great a d service is great.

M.Easy to find at the West end of Kaikohe CBD. Large level parking (shared with McDonald's and The Warehouse) adjacent to easy access entry.
Moderately busy, as it often is. Plenty of cashiers on board to enable quick processing - even through Covid restrictions.
Fresh produce and meat/butchery (at about average prices), and plenty of fresh baked cakes, slices, muffins and so on. Special price zone near entry and south of cashiers/ service counters ( including 'damaged' or short-dated products).
Warm place to get so many of the basic essentials and a few extras.
Pleasant, helpful, friendly staff.
