The only downside was that the self service aisle was not very evident. The good thing is that they have their own petrol pumps and you get a discount off the petrol dependent upon purchase. the store was well stocked and the service excellent.

Utterly satisfactory. Plenty of off street parking. Great range of produce, homeware and groceries. Pleasant, cordial team members.

Great staff so friendly. They all need a pack on their backs, keeping this business going and giving it a good name by their work ethics 😊👍

Good depending on who is on checkout and what kind of mood they are in. Was a bit busy today and checkout staff who has normally been very friendly was not so much today...

It's local I use to get supplys service is friendly, they have what you expect from a super market and definitely worth it for the discount fuel. They sell Masahi probably the best energy drink around for focus etc and it's hard to find so glad they sell it..

Our first and only paknsave in NZ. We enjoyed the shopping experience. Good choice of goods. Some kiwi said, thad PnS is the cheapest supermarket in NZ. They give you discount for fuel if you buy anything (even only worth 1 NZD) at their store. Shopping unde palmtrees in Kaitaia. Nice town to live in anyway.

A big market, a bit of a walk from the main centre for hikers. Great parking it not.

All good , walked up to PnS this morning as it was a great looking day , and of course I forgot to grab a mask from home , but all was well as I offered to buy one when I got there but was given one with a smile and a good wish by a staff member , thanks team ✔️✔️

Probably the best pak'nsave I've ever shopped at. AWESOME range of meat- both in quality and price. Goes the same for their veggie and other items. Have some very helpful and kind staff on their books with plenty of shadded parking.

Fresh fish, salad, and chocolate mousse for lunch yum! Great self-service. Helpful staff.

Staff are friendly and helpful, fresh food items are generally in good condition, and prices are decent even despite the lack of any local competition. Only complaint is that even pre-covid stock levels tended to drop low quite often...

Here in Kaitaia Pak n Save the staff provide a welcoming atmosphere, I know I hate the day after Xmas coz it gets so hectic for many who are organising their New Years dinner & making sure the decorations are all READY...

Great store good signage inside to find your groceries easily. As always price is competitive. Staff friendly and efficient.

Lots and lots of parking available. Self service fuel easy to use. Friendly staff walking around everywhere if you have any questions. Aisles are clean and well laid out, with prices and deals seemingly better than most other supermarkets. Cheers

Easy parking unsure if it would be on a pay day. Cheaper prices than what we normally have at our normal pak n save Pukekohe,Thames) Helpful staff ,gave directions when we couldn't find items

All round a good store. Easy to access the spacious carpark from the main road. Be careful while parking as it gets quite busy. Store is large as expected of the name and carries a good range of groceries. Fresh meat, fish and baked goods are on offer and of a high standard. Store is kept clean and orderly by hard-working staff.

Better then the old one

Either overstocked or under stocked on items I like to purchase. Wish there were options I'd take my business elsewhere. .May need to take a drive to Whangarei monthly.

A good supermarket, plenty of products and well priced. A downside, find shelves are not restocked as regularly as they should be. With this supermarket being the only one in Kaitaia they need to do better. There is the population to warrant competition which may make them improve in this regard.

Very Friendly Staff and Helpful when in need of finding something or getting something down. Loving the $1 or $2 weeks or the $5 week deals with the mutli buys made shopping this week cheaper and more affordable for me and my family. Very keen to try out the Click and Collect at some point in the near future.

Not to bad. Compared to other pak. N. Save. But able to get what you need. Customer service great.

Needed more staff on the tills as the store was pretty quiet but customers still had to wait in queues of to six trolleys back to be served. The staff were polite and courteous though.

The cheapest I've brought from and I've been to a lot of Pak n Saves. Only problem is... Be cautious if shopping from scratch during the lead up to Christmas. Can be more expensive. Staff and shop great service. Big shop so lots to choose from with local products too

Thé cheapest supermarket in thé area. In Ahipara , thé shop is almost doubling thé Price of pack and save....it was thé most expensive prices i Saw in all New zealand in 15 months

it's okay but the prices have gone quite alot

It's about what you'd expect from a paknsave, nothing amazing.

Waiting time to confirm alcohol @ self checkout. Staff standing around however only one staff member can confirm. This staff member was putting in a realm of paper for the dockets so we waited & waited & waited... With a busy place & the only supermarket in Kaitaia that caters for a huge region I'm amazed that this service needs to be looked stepped up.

The main problem i have about any supermarket is meat quality, but pak'n'save kaitaia have great quality meat with surprisingly low prices.

Great staff but sometime selection lacks alot

OMG... turn the lights on, was a dark and miserable feeling store.

Great customer service and the younge stackers are very helpfull they go out of there way looking for the requested products that may not be on shelf or you cant find👍🤗 thanks Kaitaia Paknsav

Since this is the only big grocery store around you don't have a choice but to go here. However the staff is very friendly and they always ready to help you whenever they can. Being the only store around has its disadvantages though. If they see that a product is not going off the shelf for a while because of a similar lower priced competitor, they'd simply wait for the lower priced item to sell out and then they'd stick a notice that it's out of stock. So you would be left with no choice but to buy the higher priced item. Case in point Budget/Value tomato tins. However this place has variety of options to choose from and the prices are comparatively less than Auckland.

Shelves need stocking, prices are skyrocketing, not as clean as I have seen the aisles and surrounds.

I go to Pak n Save Kaitaia at least 3 times a week, the staff there are always friendly & helpful, that goes a long way to making you want to go back there. When you get there you see the same people working there with the same smiles & you expect to see them as well, I sometimes go there just to see their friendly faces, that makes my day...they're like old friends.

Kta paknsav is a good place with great staff older / younger. The most important acknowledgement belongs to the trolley retriever Robyn. Thanks everyone working hard for us your community .

Just popped into PaknSave Kaitaia for 3 items although once in store realised there were other items needed. Interestingly lots of toilet paper on the shelves! Was fairly busy for a Monday afternoon but checkouts flowed well. 4 stars as there's always room for improvement.

The best supermarket in town... also the only supermarket in town, so they kinda win by default. Anyways, I still think it's better than most Pak'nSave's I've been to.

My husband and I went too done some shopping at Pak n save and we called in at the serve over deli, we wanted to purchase the purple polonys but didn't see any what ever happened too those, we used too purchase them all the time. Those were our favorite delicacy. Bring those back.

Got the timing right not a lot of people it was a pleasant experience. But I wish they had more variety of foods .no global tai chicken or pulled pork sauces

Pak'nSave is well stocked, has good customer service and sufficient parking which includes wheelchair accessibility. Prices are good as well as competitive. The on-site bakery gives a fresh alternative to packaged baked goods, as well.

Stopped in during our camper van trip to cape Reinga. Lots of cheap deals here and we found parking no problem however that may have been luck in our camper!!

Beautifully decorated last week. The clown was a real hit . Today not enough staff on check out. Apparently I am not the only one that hates the bossy woman's voice on self check out.

Biggest,best and cheapest supermarket in Kaitaia,stop inn and grab your supplies before you head up to houhora camp grounds or cape reinga. good and friendly customer service.Beautiful $20 trays of sirloin steak,the best in NZ!!pak n save fuel here,a lotto shop and eftpos machine on site, mcdonalds just across the road.

Just expensive fruit and veg better to buy from the frozen section

Even tho paknsave is the only supermarket up here I will always shop there, sometimes they have some pretty good specials, the staff are excellent good service and good attitude towards there customers.

As i always say it's a shop you buy more than you need and leave.

For the only supermarket in Kaitaia it does the job. Missing a lot of the variety of a bigger supermarket it makes up for it with fresh baked goods and bread rolls.
