I'm glad I have good local supermarket such as this. Staff are always friendly & helpful. I've only had to queue twice to get in. The staff are limiting numbers in the shop for safety. And I like to know people are checked for wearing a mask before entry. Everyone is very compliant as far as I've seen. Thank you Countdown.

A very busy supermarket, does not have the variety as other Countdowns, trolley parks always overflowing and the main entrance is very dirty lots of litter, but it is a convenient location and has the essentials.

Countdown Katikati is a pleasant place to shop. My only concern is the noise the staff working in the fruit and veg department make with the plastic crates, which they drop from a height making as much noise as possible. Also, you really need to see to the wheels on the very long trolley that carries boxes. What a din it makes. It's on going. Staff working in the aisles need to consider customers who are trying to concentrate, and who have taken the time to actually do their own shopping as apposed to the on line option. The litter in the car park is the worst I've seen. In the past I've gone around and picked it up. There is employment there for someone. Staff are very nice. A lovely spacious modern shop with a great variety of stock. 😄

Enjoy shopping at Countdown Katikati, great specials, friendly staff who are always willing to help. Sometimes though there doesn't appear to be enough staff on the counters which leaves people waiting. Not everyone likes using the self service. Otherwise a great happy store to shop at.

Countdown Katikati is a generously large supermarket with wide aisles and a reasonable variety of product. Staff are friendly and helpful. The is a large carpark which is typically quite full, so a popular supermarket (the only one in Katikati actually). My only observation to the proprietor would be to expect larger numbers on benefit day and cater with sufficient checkout staff accordingly...

A well laid out, stocked and staffed store. The staff look after you well. Its always busy and bustling and I can always find what I want. They were so good to my elderly parents during lockdown. That counted for a lot. Checkout Manager Sandeep has good Customer Service and organisational skills down to a fine art. If you are in the Deli, ask for Roshi or Tania as they know their product and will look after you well. I always shop there whenever I visit family.

Great place to shop, clean and fruit and vegetables look good. Staff are lovely and ready to help. Only drawback is most of the time quite a number of check outs are closed leaving a busy checkout operator. Self service is great for a few items. You usually end up queuing if you're trolley is full.

Good selection of food types. Meat is not the best especially the beef. Will accept returns if not happy. Tuesday is pensioners day, show your seniors card and get 5 percent discount. Friendly helpful staff.

Katikati Countdown is a large and spacious well-stocked supermarket. It has a good International section and stocks lots of gluten free products. There is a great bakery, deli and a good fresh produce department. The wine and beer selection is extensive. In general the staff are friendly and helpful, and I'm grateful to have such a good supermarket available in our area!

Just recently moved here. Have noticed alot of elderly folk. They are full of zest & are great to shop with. The areas are well sign posted, help is easily accesible & I enjoyed the comical attitude of the ladies at checkout. Wonderful place to shop!!!

Handy place to stop when travelling north from Tauranga for any last minute bits as its straight off the main highway. Good sized car park and has all the main grocery items you would expect from a Countdown.

I found it pretty cheap for shopping when I was living in Katikati, staff very helpful, the manager Mr Rench I found to be very friendly and helpful in many areas, also keeping me up to date on specials in store.
